Excellent reporting…and I’m sorry for what you went through to write this piece. It was shocking enough to read; I can’t imagine listening to hours upon hours of this drivel. Toxic and dangerous.

A sure sign of having little to say is taking forever to say it. Hence, the Manosphere.

Which begs the question: Does Rogan in particular ever seriously review the shit he spouts? Some of his observations that I've heard seem quite nuanced--like his questioning of Trump2 targeting Latino gardeners, instead of the dangerous criminals that the GOP was going to supposedly concentrate on. Or his frustration that Trump2 was definitely stonewalling the release of Epstein material.

But then he'll go all adolescent, commenting on Lauren Boebert's breasts. Or just be intellectually lazy, with his quip on the MMR vaccine causing autism.

Yet the Manosphere, for all its flaws, beats the nasty toxicity of Right-wing AM talk radio; or the misinformation-only pro-GOP propaganda of FOX News.

Rogan in particular has a fairly easygoing just-a-dude style. And he often appears genuinely interested in discovering the truth of things. With just a little more intellectual and humanist awakening, he could be someone who converts moderate conservatives into true American liberals.

We watched him.on "Fear Factor". He was a dumb as a rock guy then, appears he's lost quite a few braincells since. To listen to his lies, the drivel, one would have to be completely uneducated, or 10 yrs old.

Wow, it's like reading the National Enquirer on steroids. My mom used to read the National Enquirer for entertainment. Today's audience doesn't seem to understand the corrosive effect of what they are listening to. After awhile, you may start to wonder if it's true and then it's down the rabbit hole.

It seems like they will believe , follow, emulate anyone they think others perceive as Macho. It’s so bizarre, it is the opposite behavior of what would actually get them the things that say they want.

I wondered what the attraction was to Joe Rogan. I guess all the stunted men whose mothers suffocated them and whose dads ignored them or got into their 8-year-old face about "being a man" has boiled down to these "cool guys in the basement" inviting the Poindexters in to giggle and guffaw at dirty jokes and stupid misinformation. No one is there to call them on it but remember Robin from the Howard Stern show back in the day. What was her job? To laugh at his over-the-top comments (about women's bodies) and goad him on. This behavior is baked in and when all you've got is time, come on in, we're down in the basement. If we didn't have the internet maybe these men would get jobs and exercise.

But wait, I got more. Those two things: financial health and personal hygiene have created the so-called incels, but let's face it, if a woman wanted to be with a broke-ass stinky person, she is probably that herself. I do not believe that any man is an incel, but rather a voluntary celibate who has never learned to, or refuses to, get an education, a job and take care of himself physically and mentally. They choose to be gross, misogynistic and stupid. I've heard their excuses, blaming women for their own choices. (And not for nothing, have you ever seen a woman get ready for a first date with someone she is interested in? It takes days to get ready. The man, if he is interested, will 1)brush his teeth 2)take a shower, maybe and 3)change his underwear.

"The man, if he is interested, will 1)brush his teeth 2)take a shower, maybe and 3)change his underwear."

To paraphrase Thom York from Radiohead, "That man, that ain't me!"

If I'm getting ready for ANY date I am taking far more than my usual care. I am a stylish and attractive man because I take care to dress as well as my wallet allows, keep a good haircut and well-shined shoes, own clothes appropriate to the occasions adults participate in, like; parties, weddings and funerals. I strive to be enagaging, polite and appropriate with my partner, not desperate or overbearing.

It doesn't hurt to have a ready smile and a positive mindset. If you don't brag and exhibit genuine interest in your partner, you will be a much happier man because you will be with a happy woman (ask me how I know these things).

But then you'd lose the joy of complaining to like-minded people, you might say. Think long and hard about your last statement, would be my reply. Then choose: happiness or misery. The way you choose to engage with the world and what you experience as a consequence of your action (s) or lack thereof, is all up to you!

I AGREE W/KATHY & AM SPEAKING SOLEY TO THE MEN SHE DESCRIBED IN MY REPLY!!!!!

Perhaps read my reply again with the bias turned down. I'm agreeing with her. Just so you know, Kathy and I are familiar with one another, friendly towards one another and have communicated many times in this form over the years. You and I never have. However, I appreciate you sharing your opinion with me.

Nonetheless, I am looking forward to Kathy's reply to this man (that's me just in case you were not sure) who is NOT like the ones she described and who provided a list of things the guys who ARE like that may try in order to perhaps find a date.

Good day.

If you ever listen to those dudes, you know they get much joy from complaining about how awful women are not to want them. This is what I am describing. The dudes who would lose that joy they derive from their celebration of their exclusion. Those are the like-minded people I referred to.

It's too bad that you don't see what I am actually saying. Good day.

I can’t imagine how traumatizing this all was. Is it any wonder that Young Republicans in their telegram chat described sex with a woman as “gay” unless it is “rape”. It’s either be an incel or dominate. These podcasts should not be described as being in a man-o-sphere. There are no men that I recognize as being manly there. They should be described as the bigchiponmyshouldersmallpenisinmypants-o-sphere.

Agreed. Merely boys who desperately need a beating. I know, I'm not the only MAN who would be pleased to be of service in that regard and I bet there are many WOMEN who would relish the chance to roundly and soundly kick Joe Rogan's ass. I'd pay to see that!

The fairness doctrine would need tone update to the technology of today. Just like Ai should be regulated! While we’re at it …break up 5 banks to 10, Amazon into three, Meta, etc. Private Equities taxed as corporations with 20% tax and No Deductions…or we could go back and tax at the 1950 rate!

Sorry…got carried away!

1st ) Judd…exceptional reporting that mainstream media doesn’t touch. Where’s 60 minutes? Hopefully PBS will.

2nd) this is what Scott Galloway & Jonathan Haidt should be talking about …stupid people telling stupid stuff to young men

3rd) podcasts should be regulated just like talk radio!

A lot of stupidity!

4) Put back in place the

‘the fairness doctrine’

this would solve a lot of issues

imho … Judd keep shining the light!
