In recent days, the Trump administration has begun detaining babies. Advocates reported that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained numerous infants under one year of age "in the South Texas Family Residential Center (STFRC) in Dilley, Texas." The youngest infant detained was just five months old.
