Trying to paint a woman with no criminal record driving a Honda Pilot with plushies in the back of the vehicle as a "domestic terrorist" is so patently absurd it would be laughable if not for Renee Good's tragic murder. For those of us who haven't been paying attention or aren't members of specifically targeted communities, I hope this serves as a wake-up call. ICE can't be reformed into a beneficial arm of the government. It's rotten to the core and needs to be dismantled.

After watching all five videos--including the cellphone footage taken by Ross, and the footage just released by the FBI--it seems that Good and most of the whistle-blowing bystanders, were protesting the ICE vehicle caravan on their street. Good used her vehicle to block the ICE vehicles from proceeding up the one-way street. Which is when Ross approached her car, and murdered her before she could drive away.

Instead of radoing in her vehicle plate number and requesting local or state police to make an arrest, he murdered her.

But the uproar over the killing of Good, and the recent Maduro operation, are Mission Accomplished as far as Trump's concerned: There's been virtually no mention in the media regarding the stalled release of Epstein documents. DOJ hasn't released a thing in three weeks, in violation of federal law. Now I guess we'll never know whether, or to what degree, Trump knew of, or shared, in the disgraced pedophile's trafficking operations.

He videoed her license plate, so she could have been found and questioned, just as her wife said before the murder.

Ann Sharon's avatar

While inconvenient, the street at that point was not completely blocked.

The media has not covered the Epstein files much. Congress just began a new session and has funding bills on its plate. There are 2-3 things being considered re: Epstein files. Asking the court to appoint someone for oversight of the federal release of docs; reduction & conditions on immigration enforcement.

But the most interesting is inherent contempt. The House GOP majority hangs by a thread. Such a vote would not go to the Senate agreement. It would not go to Donnie for a veto.

SandyG's avatar

Thx for the update. Their constituents forced their hand on the Epstein Transparency Act. They gotta do it again on inherent contempt.

celeste k.'s avatar

Correct, and it must be done. They must be stopped.

Call your Senators and Rep. and tell them to DEFUND the DHS and the Dept. of Defense. Deprive them of the money they need to operate, and that will bring on their demise.

Her black lab was also in the back seat.

RDB1172's avatar

Exactly! Black lab with a gray muzzle. Who takes their geriatric lab on a terrorism run with their six year old? The absurdity of Noem, Trump and Vance.

SeekingReason's avatar

Not only must ICE terrorists be dismantled, they must ALL go on trial and preferably pay the ultimate price. There is no more effective way to end the psychopathic lies and terror this illegitimate admin has put on innocent citizens! Good had a Constitutional right to protest. She was not violent! Jonathon Ross should face trial and he should look over his shoulder until then!

Mark's avatar

Noem and Patel need to be arrested an charged with being an accessory to murder for directing the cover-up.

Stephen Schiff's avatar

Agree 100%. But will the "centrist" Democrats change their spots and grow spines? I expect yet another Merrick Garland or Eric Holder. Definitely not a Jack Smith.

Justice in America is a fickle concept.

Marliss Desens's avatar

Legally, I doubt that they can be charged with murder, but their statements can be used in court as evidence that they were attempting a cover-up.

SandyG's avatar

This is the important point: The coverup. What can Congress do about it, presuming their constituents demand they do something?

Toxtli Melloh's avatar

Amen. They must be stopped now.

David E. Roy Ph.D.'s avatar

There’s plenty of evidence, that’s for sure!

This is my city. I live here. ICE is everywhere! I'm SO proud of my community and neighbors. People arranging rides for those too afraid to drive themselves to and from work. Arranging to get groceries and deliver them to families too afraid to leave their homes. Small businesses being forced to decide which days to be open, for fear of ICE raids taking place. I sincerely hope this is some kind of tipping point for anyone who continues to complain, but has yet to take action. Call your congressional representatives and demand NO MORE $ for ICE and demand that ICE begin to follow the actual laws of this country!

They can hide what they want and lie all they want, but the videos are out there and Minnesota doesn't need permission to prosecute this crime. Nor can the Feds stop the state from prosecuting this crime. Again, the question will be put to a jury.

The entire fate of this country is put before the people, just as this crime will be decided by the people.

So people, let's get the job done, and stop this lawless regime once and for all.

Marliss Desens's avatar

I agree that Minnesota's law enforcement should try. Glenn Kirschner had suggestions on how they might proceed.

SandyG's avatar

Minnesota doesn't need permission, but they need the evidence. As Judd pointed out, ICE corrupted the crime scene, and they took custody of Ms. Good's car.

Can Congress, if enough of their constituents demand it, as they did for the Epstein Transparency Act, compel the FBI to release all evidence to the Minneapolis DA? It is highly unusual for the FBI to not partner with local law enforcement, at least since Hoover was the Director.

Daniel Kunsman's avatar

To all the GOOD people of Minnesota: Do NOT cooperate with the FBI in ANY WAY! If confronted, or asked anything, simply state you saw nothing, know nothing. Then, when a state or local law enforcement official comes to you, cooperate as fully as you can. Another example of "GOOD trouble".

The video evidence publicly available is clear, Ross murdered her. He knows it. Noem knows it. Shit, even Trump knows it. And they can only cover up his crime and hide him for so long. There will be justice for Renee Good sooner or later. And if Ross has any sense, he'd opt for sooner because he may be safer in a special unit of a prison than on the street.

Katy Bolger's avatar

Omg, if there was evidence that Good hit Ross, it is not in any of the videos I have seen. How dare they call the seconds when he is firing, when we can see Good has turned the wheel and is slowly pulling away, when he fired the shots, he had changed the phone from one hand to the other.

Omg, will they get away with this? This is our government killing our citizens in cold blood and then covering it up. This killing, for me, is the Rubicon being crossed. When will this end? Can it end? Can it end without a lot of blood? How many Rosses are there in ICE? How many with a f-up brain and an itchy trigger finger? Who's next? And why should we wait after this blameless person is killed in the street and then, by the killer, called a fucking bitch, Well, the bitch is back, Mr. Ross and she will find you.

Ginny K's avatar

even if Good did anything unlawful (and I have seen zero evidence of anything except constitutionally protected conduct on her part), Ross only had the ability to arrest her and then should would be charged, and if such charges were not thrown out, she would be subjected to prosecution and, if convicted, sentences. Law enforcement officers cannot summarily execute citizens. It looks Ross could not tolerate the "crime" of a middle aged woman refusing to submit to his authority. these MAGA snowflakes are pathetic and a huge danger to us all.

Toxtli Melloh's avatar

The other incident where a protester "tried to run him over" earlier this year needs to be reviewed. Clearly this is a sick coward with a deadly agenda. What lies were created then?

RD's avatar

The truth is already out, and it is not what the tyrump administration is saying. The purpose of an investigation is to establish proof beyond a reasonable doubt for court proceedings.

T_Allen's avatar

Just the beginning.

From grocery price increases to a murder coverup, the Trump administration asks "Who are you going to believe: us or your lying eyes?"

What's next?

Kristi Noem started out by saying the agents were stuck digging their car out of the snow when Good 'attacked' them. Nice try, but that didn't happen. All these lies on top of lies.

A doctor asked for permission to approach the victim and was denied. ICE blocked an ambulance from getting to the scene and EMTs were forced to drag Good's body out by hand and carry her to the ambulance.

And of course, Ross calling Good a F ing B after he murdered her. No remorse.

Gosh, it’s as if ever leader and spokes person in the FBI and DHS and the Queens real estate mob boss’ administration was trained by Roy Cohn and Roger Stone. How is this possible?
