Great reporting again while against so many odds!

Judd, stay safe!

These crooks are dangerous.

The truth continues to expose their lies…Their absolute greed!

Such a pathetic bunch.

That these corporations would seek to align themselves with those in power isn't surprising. What makes it appalling is that they're helping fund the rewriting of American history to sanitize its darker elements and to erase the experiences of marginalized groups. I read this morning that the Pride flag was just removed from the Stonewall National Monument. Grotesque stuff happening right now.

Incredible report that should be on the front page everywhere. This is blatant bribery, although that's nothing new.

It's getting to the point where we need to boycott everything in our daily lives.

Watch your backs PI!

Sounds like himself has gone from being "the apprentice" to becoming the New Epstein...taking money from high rollers for connections to purchase, rape and pillage the planet.

Katy Bolger's avatar

In so many ways, he is Epstein. He steals, lies, rapes, covers up, and brings everyone around him down. Donald Epstein Twump.

Katie Galvin's avatar

He is Epstein. I'm convinced that it will turn out that Epstein worked for Trump

The occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, already rendered ironic by Trump's crushing misrule, is further degraded by this orgy of corporate tribute/extortion to honor not our nation, but his political agenda. What should be a shared national celebration is instead more reason for national embarrassment.

Katy Bolger's avatar

This is how Donald Epstein Twump described the Declaration of Independence: "...a declaration of unity and love and respect." The president of the United States has never read the Declaration of Independence, or even had it read to him, or asked Google to explain it to him? Maybe all of us should give it a second look. The men who wrote, published and sent it abroad took their lives in their hands by sending it to the king. It tells the king to fuck off, to stop abusing them, to release them from the bonds that hold them together. It accuses the kings of crimes, arrogance, abuse, abuse, abuse. Apparently, King George didn't like to read documents and never read it. We don't know if he had it read to him or even had it summarized. King George just threw a tantrum and sent more troops into his American colonies' cities to terrorize its citizens, shooting them in the street.

Well said. It should be a celebration but it’s anything but.

What is Trump's cut from these bribes?

Katy Bolger's avatar

On Judd, leave those poor corporations alone! They have seen the result of going against Twump and they have decided, against any ethical or moral reasoning, to keep their bottom line healthy even if it means destroying democracy. When Twump or his successors begin to nationalize gigantic companies, then they will squeal as they try to make a deal (for themselves). But as long as the men at the top are living the island dream on their 150-foot yachts, they will do whatever it takes to keep their lifestyle in place.

Time for an Alt-250 network. Commemorate real history.

Katy Bolger's avatar

Ann, Real history should not be alternative. What Donald Epstein Twump is doing is alt-250. Let's claim the high ground with America250 and ignore or throw rotten tomatoes at

Freedom250 with their highlights: Kid Rock, Lee Greenwood, wrestlers and some well-clad dancing girls.

Rosann's avatar

The crassness of this regime knows no bounds. The same with cruelty and corruption.

Ann Peters's avatar

Yes. At the same time, real history has to be multivocal. For this reason and others, official celebrations are always problematic... this one just highlights the manipulation.

Should we close our MC credit cards? What else can we do?

Marliss Desens's avatar

Good question. Other than Exxon and MC, the general public does not use these companies, and the Exxon executive did speak the inconvenient truth about Venezuelan oil. Other companies supporting it should have to reveal themselves, as this is nothing less than collecting political bribes.

Jackras's avatar

Absolutely no one should be surprised at the depth of self-interest and greed. This is America after all. As always, appreciate the "receipts" on the souless corps under Trump's spell. If we want to apply real pressure to the regime, we need to resist and unsubscribe. This is a movement launched by Professor Scott Galloway. Big tech is holding up S&P500 and to get the attention of the greedsters, we should start to unsubscribe from the specific and targeted list he provides. When and where is the Mastercard card burning event?

Thanks - hard to read; good (but painful) to know.

I just cancelled my 36 year Mastercard account!!!! Jump on in! The water is fine!

Trump regime, bought and paid for.

This is just gross. That's all
