They're trying the ban TP Link routers for home use for this very reason. I suspect the majority of us aren't keeping critical data on US defense on our gaming PCs. I agree. The name is Department of Defense, and it cannot be changed without Congressional approval. Don't use "Department of War" any more than you would use "Gulf of America" instead of Gulf of Mexico. Language is powerful.
If this breach were contained only to xAI and had no national security repercussions, I wouldn't even blink. China kneecapping Leon alone doesn't trouble me. Them potentially rendering the nation defensively vulnerable is a whole other kettle of fish altogether.
