Walters: "We want students to think for themselves and not be spoon-fed left-wing propaganda. Which is why I'm personally hijacking the curriculum and spoon-feeding them right-wing propaganda."

Does anyone wonder why Oklahoma is one of the least educated states? Just could be because of inbred mouth breathers like this guy. Just maybe.

Mark, Notice how confident and aggressive they are with their ignorance & incompetence? They reside in a cult & we are not able to remove them despite a mountain of high level crimes.

This was all allowed over time…bringing religion into government, privileging the christian church, being too polite when republicans stole election after election.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” - George Orwell, ‘1984’

Your last sentence describes the work of the simpleton Oklahoma Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters (R) succinctly as he promotes inaccuracies:

"Walters and many of the Christian nationalist figures who helped him craft the curriculum have said that the separation of church and state is unconstitutional or a myth."

Oklahoma has a history of White Christian Nationalism--the Tulsa Race Massacre. And this week the destruction of the home and goods belonging to the immigrant citizen by 20 masked law enformcement!

Thank you, Popular Information team for alerting us to more that is going wrong in our country thanks to underying racism.

Read 'Killers of the Flower Moon'.....Oklahoma did not limit themselves to attacking just black people.

And just like with the attacks on black people, the echoes of these heinous acts reverberate still!

Yes, saw the movie when it came out--was VERY hard to watch. Unforgettable. (But I didn't remember it as being Oklahoma!)

Holy f. This reads like fiction. Looking on from Australia, America is indistinguishable from the dystopia category on Netflix.

At least when it was just idiocracy it was funny. Now it's just a poorly-written, made for TV drama.

In order to guarantee a reliable generation of ignorant MAGAs, Oklahoma's failing education system also guarantees a generation that is totally unable to compete in the 21st century. When these ignoramuses need to flee the next Dust Bowl, you know the one brought about by the climate change hoax, they must be stopped at the state line and not allowed to spread their ignorance anywhere else.

It appears that OK is counting on the rest of the country dumbing down like them so there youth will be competitive. It must be the inbreeding.

Not too much doubt why Trump and his minions want to abolish the Federal Department of Education.

High school students. So they are fertilizing the ground for these kids to support FFOTUS in the 2028 "elections" by presenting the MAGA version of history, and removing any references to the accomplishments of the Biden administration, and flat out lying about the FFOTUS regime. So Orwellian, this blatant attempt to brainwash the minds of these future voters.

How can this be prevented? Some nights I despair for the future of this country as revelations like this continue to be unearthed by Judd. At least there is a chance that something can be done, as the first step towards change is to be aware of the problem.

Child grooming at its finest! The thwarted GOP excel at pumping fantasy history in their world of make believe. This has nothing to do with students thinking for themselves and everything to do with dishing out propaganda. If this doesn’t make you gag, nothing will. If this doesn’t make you shout out against such premeditated child abuse, nothing will. This is so blatantly anti-American it’s not just appalling it’s definitively Evil.

Question: is there any significance of the coffee mug on Waters’ desk in the photo? The Latin phrase translates to “if you want peace, prepare for war.” Is this phrase at all connected to Christian Nationalism? One is reminded of Pete Hegseth’s “deus vult” tattoo. I found it odd that the coffee mug was so prominently placed in the photo. Intentional?

This from okpolicy.org: "As a state, Oklahoma paid $37 billion to the federal government while receiving back $68.8 billion in federal dollars." This was for a recent year.
