I am a Realtor and as such a member of several real estate groups and a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and with these organizations I make a small political action committee donation with my annual membership fees. I am writing to all of these groups and informing them if they support any of the NO VOTE republicans or the US Chamber of Congress I will stop the political donations as well as not support any board member who supports said donations. Additionally, I have a small stock portfolio and have started writing to each of the companies which I invest in (as an investor & part owner) that I do not support any donations to the NO VOTE republicans and will vote against all current board members who support said donations. Little things add up and this is what we all need to do.

The Chamber and these corporations hope we'll stop paying attention so they can resume funding the worst the Republican Party has to offer when the political furor dies down. But it hasn't yet and I can only say I'm thankful we have resources like Popular Info to help expose them and keep the pressure on.

This is as unsurprising as it is disheartening. And, it goes to show that I was unfortunately right that these seditious a--holes would face zero consequences for their actions.

I couldn’t help laughing at “solely based on their votes on the electoral certification”. It’s like saying the south fought the Civil War over states’ rights... (which is true, as long as we all acknowledge that they wanted those rights to include the right to retain an economy that didn’t bear the cost of labor). Some of us are not fooled by spin.

So now we know for a FACT that the “Chamber” is just another Republican weapon to support politicians who would encourage extremists to lie, threaten and physically harm the people and policies that do not support their racist and misogynistic views. It’s time to shore up the good guys and do everything within our power to hold every single one of these organizations and the people who run them responsible for their anti American activities. Also, I have a question for all of us: “Why aren’t every one of the terrorists who attacked the Capitol of the United States in jail and being prosecuted?” Why?

It looks to me like pointing your laser at the THE CHAMBER may shake loose a lot of loose nuts out there. Heaven knows what kind of bilge you might stir up for all to smell. You aren’t the first to expose the chamber out for the partisan it is. It has a vested interest in keeping big business happy and thriving. Funny thing though. In parasitic relationships, the host eventually dies. If the chamber isn’t more prudent in its choices, it could end up dying on the vine with this country.
