So, in other words, they’re all hedging their bets. And, as citizens and consumers, regardless of our personal stance, we are all supporting these anti-abortion politicians with our purchases too. With nearly no competitor companies to go to instead. 🤬

Exactly. My employer's health care plan MANDATES that we use CVS for our prescriptions, so I have no choice but to fund its politics.

Agree! These companies are the largest, and are impossible to avoid. I would also wonder 1) how much they give to Dems and 2) which large co’s DON’T give to R’s. Problem is also that incumbents take in most of the $ because they’re likely to win. Corporations want to give to the winner. Incredibly frustrating!

Maybe it’s just me, but before Covid, Cuomo and his role as chair of the National Governors’ Association, I never gave any governors’ association one thought and TBH am not sure I realized they existed. And then the RGA came to light in 2020. And now we realize they are a top recipient of corporate political donations. I’m not surprised, but on this gray, rainy day, I’m feeling like life is a board game and other players are using loaded dice as I naively watch.

It’s depressing to read these reports. The outward statements and support for women in the one hand, and yet the promotion of the opponent in the other, how do we reckon with this? Are these same companies also giving to more progressive organizations and candidates? Is there some balance they try to make because they are a business? When I think about the financials of Amazon, for instance, a multi-million (or perhaps multi-billion) business, $1mil in donations over 6 years is a drop in the bucket.

And with a list as expansive as this one touching a wide spectrum of where we spend our money, how do we ever avoid them?

So it is depressing every day I read your reports. I don’t know how to live.

Thx Judd, as always.

We need to bring this information to the rallies. We need the companies to explain their hypocrisy.

We need to keep breathing bc this is more exhaustion.

Another important reason to get money OUT of politics!

We are horrified but we all know they feel like they have to play the game. What I really want to know is how much did they donate to their Democratic counterparts? I need my facts in hand before I start moving accounts. Thanks, Judd!

Great work Judd. Hoping this gets picked up by bigger outlets. This needs to be seen

Do these corporations donate to Democrat committees too? How much? More, less, equal?

Aww the both sides of the field these disgusting 1% corps play. They should be called out on every turn.

Thanks for doing it since the MSM caves to their 1% ownership.

Rip Van Winkles need to “wake up” make the sacrifices and stop spending money with these companies that are obviously using it to deny you your freedoms!!

Hedging bets in the financial realm is one thing. This is not that. A baker's dozen of billion-dollar hypocrites.
