And, here's the thing: Let's assume that the outcome is not predetermined, and that he is either defeated or his name then withdrawn. Who would his likely replacement be? The answer is Amy Coney Barrett, whose politics are so far to the right that she makes Brett Kavanaugh look like Michael Moore. Bottom line?
