This is the same Winsome Earle-Sears whose campaign sent out a fundraising email highlighting Virginia as "the former capital of the Confederacy" and opining that "slaves did not die in the fields so that we could call ourselves victims in 2025." Absolutely repulsive stuff.

It’s from the PragerU curriculum. These are right-wing fanatics who also believe slavery wasn’t bad, and gave black people necessary job skills; when all evidence points to the contrary!….:)

I do my best on that score. But being a transplant recipient whose insurance provider is owned by CVS, there is nothing I can do but continue to do business with them The others? Oh yeah! They're on the "do not use" list for sure!

Hang in there, Adam. I'm on my way to my cancer treatments at the Cleveland Clinic, due to my time at Camp Lejuene, and drinking their poisoned water. And even though the CVS is closer to me, I do my business with an Ohio company called Drug Mart. I wish you had one close to you. Ever think of trying a mail-order pharmacy? My elderly folks use one ( I'll try to get the name for you; can't think of it right now ) that's out of Michigan, I believe. Anything to keep our dollars away from the Nazis!

You were at Camp Lejuene? So was I back in 1980-81 when I first graduated boot camp (Parris Island) and joined the FMF. Hoo Rah!!!

I am sorry to hear of your need for cancer treament and am anticipating great success for you.

My issue was smoking. After 42 years my body couldn't hack it but bi-lateral lung replacement surgery set me right! Now the anti-rejection meds I take are available thru... CVS. I have to use the CVS mail order pharmacy.

Lejuene, 1975 thru '78. 8th Comm Btl, Comm Spt Co. Also P.I., Apr - Jul, '75. Comm school, 29 Palms, then Lejuene. 3 Caribbean cruises, 2 Med cruises, and 1 NATO cruise, so my time on base was a little here, a little there, and mostly prepping for the next cruise.

Just got back home from this round of chemo; kinda used to it now.

Gave up smoking 12/2010 ( cigs, that is!! ). Never looked back. Not sure where you are, but I hope you have Drs. of the same quality as Cleve Clinic. They are the best! Right next to the VA here in Cleveland, but I wouldn't switch unless I had to.

Comm Battalion? Hahaha! I was in the Air Wing. MACG-48, MWCS-47, Multichannel Field Communications. We had the jeeps in the field, tents, huts and the bubble on the air strip.

You wore lizard-skins then? The forest camo was just being introduced when I joined. Semper Fi indeed, Marine!

When they go low...hit them with Epstein.

Time to start calling Earle-Sears a Deep State pedo enabler; like 99% of the GOP Congress creeps blocking release of the full Epstein files. No more heavily redacted flight lists, Bondi! And stop blocking Sen. Wyden's investigation into the $1.5 billion that moved through Epstein's accounts during the last year of his life. And time for the House to put Alex Acosta and Barry Krischer on the stand; the Federal and Florida DA's, respectively, who gave Epstein his ultra-sweetheart deal in 2008, and claimed he was "...owned by intelligence (agencies)."

This is what we, your readers, have asked for, Judd. A spotlight on individuals like this bigot Earle-Whatever. Along the way, you scoop into the net some individuals, including clergy, who are haters. You also drag out the list of donors to haters. This is the kind of reporting that we can do something about. We can send $25. to Earle-Whocares' opponent, for one thing. That list of RGA donors at the end? We are whittling down our need/support for them. But not only do we not purchase or use their services - WE MUST LET THEM KNOW WHY. When you cancel your subscriptions, etc, let the corporations know why. Like Earle-Nastylady, attach a note for history: I oppose you and all haters.

I AM HOPING that someone (with knowledge and with time on their hands to help others) will come up with a list of companies, companies who don't shove money into Republican coffers, who we can choose as replacements for those companies. For example, my cell phones are with AT&T. Who should I use to replace AT&T?

Here’s my one piece of advice for Spanberger: Do NOT ignore that heinous ad! Counter it with a strong and forceful response about the lies that her opponent is telling. Cox is a sex offender, and is receiving all the justice and judgment that our society requires to a criminal. Believing that LGBTQ people deserve the same legal rights as anyone else is rational, accurate, and in line with our American values. Her opponent is trying to stir up even more hate and cruelty - which are the only policies the Republicans have! Remember that Trump’s anti-LGBTQ ad sank Kamala’s chances, and she never responded to his lies. Please, Spanberger, stand up to her lies and decimate her hateful argument………..

The Equality Act would give Richard Cox the right to inhabit female spaces because it makes "gender identity" a protected class. The act conflates sex and gender repeatedly. Creeps like Cox have figured out how to exploit gender identity to gain access to women's locker rooms, women's sports, women's changing rooms, domestic violence and sexual assault programs. The ad is despicable, but like most effective propaganda there is a grain of truth in what she is arguing. When gender identity trumps sex as a category, it creates the conditions for exploitation.

If I understand correctly, the offender was criminally charged for entering school grounds, right? How did the Equality Act give a convicted sex offender “the right” to enter a school?

E-Dub's avatar

You clearly didn’t read the entire post. Regardless, even if your reading were correct, treating one person‘s actions as if it’s a wave of offenses is asinine.

If I, as a man, wanted to walk into a woman’s bathroom or locker room right now, there’s nothing to stop me. Accommodation laws don’t suddenly grant access to trans people that would be otherwise impossible, and people like Richard Cox don’t need them to perpetrate their offenses.

This fearmongering is transparently bad faith. Stop falling for it.

I phone banked into Fairfax VA the other day and part of the problem is that people don’t even know there is an election! For 1 person, all I had to say was that she is Magat to get him to commit to Spanberger and Dems down ballot. But, if this DC suburb is so unaware of what’s happening with early voting only a couple of weeks away, we are in trouble. And latest polls showed the race tightening. Great article.

Did you check and determine if the companies you listed gave to liberal or progressive groups as well? Many companies donate to both sides. It’s often a tax write-off for them regardless of what causes are the focus of a given group. For instance, I know that Deloitte donates to groups on both sides of a “culture war” issue, and many companies assist employees in donating to charitable groups all over the spectrum. Some times the amounts companies donate to both sides are similar, other times it is not balanced.

This smells like desperation.

The response should be: No sex offender has the right to undress next to young boys or girls. My opponent should know that. (The fact is, neither does any random adult.)

This smells like desperation so I googled. The Hill Headline: Virginia governor race moves to ‘likely Democratic,’ per Sabato’s Crystal Ball— (It also looks like Spanberger has a healthy lead. I hope this tactic causes it to widen.)
