For the love of God, Georgia, vote him out.

So they literally proved that he's violating the insider trading laws but no charges were brought against him. I work in finance and investment. Had I done this, my licenses would have been stripped, I would be barred from the industry for life, I would have been fined, and I would have been thrown in jail. Of course, I work in a back office and make less than $50k/year , so the law still applies to me. It must be nice to be rich enough to literally never face any consequences for your actions. Even if he loses his election, he'll just become a lobbyist and rake in even more money.

So he's a proven liar and has done this 8 times and people still think he's worthy of representing them? The right is sick. Here's the difference for me (the left) - if the same stuff were coming out about a democratic senator, that he was constantly involved in insider trading, he would not have my support. The right will support their candidate blindly so long as they vote with religion and conservative opinions. This is the real issue. They vote red vs. blue, democrat vs. republican, and their vote has NOTHING to do with the merit, character, or policy of the person running. This needs to change. I didn't used to care what party you were affiliated with so long as you could deliver on your promises. Now, I will never vote republican for the rest of my life. They will never win me back after supporting a criminal for the past 4 years and agreeing with every dumba** thing that he tweeted regardless of validity. I will vote blue for the rest of my life.

What is the main driving factor for conservatives to vote Republican? I would be it is pure hatred of Dems and Liberals, amplified systematically for 40 years by the GOP.

Anyone who has ever invested through a managed account can read Perdue's denials and know that they might be technically accurate (he doesn't manage the accounts day-to-day, and the investment manager doesn't necessarily need his consent to execute a trade). But they also are blatantly false (Perdue COULD make any investment decision he wanted to, and his investment manager would execute the trade or risk losing the account). A simple phone call is all it takes. (Emails will not suffice, so there is no paper trail...)

And yet he'll still almost certainly win in January. Unbelievable.
