Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will debate next Tuesday, September 10, at 9 PM Eastern on ABC News in what is shaping up to be one of the most important political events of the year.
The apprehension is building. The anticipation is building. The stress is building. The only thing that can make us relax and feel confident is a massive embarrassment for tRumpf and Kamala gets to say what we all need to hear her say to him — shut up Trump, you’re lying again-- as many times as needed.
By the way, if your readers are looking for an effective way to help the Kamala/Walz campaign, please go to www.VoteRiders.org. Vote Riders really needs volunteers to help voters in battleground states like Pennsylvania that have confusing voter ID laws. Many of the newly registered voters who registered after the Democratic National Convention (especially first time voters) won’t be able to vote if they don’t have the proper ID — VoteRiders volunteers reach out via letters and texting and also work one-on-one to arrange for rides to the DMV or other agencies to obtain the proper IDs.
Since 2022, many states have made their voter ID regulations much stricter so please spread the word that everyone should check their voter registration at www.Vote.org. Don't assume that you are registered even if you are a long-time voter. It is also important to vote on Day 1 (as Simon Rosenberg has been urging in his Substack newsletter Hopium Chronicles)...this will take you off of the public lists of people who have voted so that campaigns can focus on contacting lower propensity voters during the last two weeks before Nov. 5.
Also, if you can give a week to go to canvass in a battleground state, go to www.turnoutpac.org (Progressive Turnout Project) - they pay $250/day for two three hour door-knocking sessions, which would defray your travel costs.
And if you have extra money to donate, the Voter Movement Project (www.movement.vote) is experiencing a funding gap. They are part of the grassroots ground game and they direct funds to local community groups who are trusted messengers reaching low propensity voters in communities of color in battleground states year-round.
I hope you tweet or post some of your commentary to offset the other craziness on social media. If you highlight your factual approach in advance, I think people will look for you!
This is excellent news. Thank you. I made other plans because I was not going to watch it due to Legacy Media's failures. Will you be recording Popular Information's debate coverage (with fact-checking)? Thank you.
This is a great idea. I’m a paid subscriber, but I live in Portugal ( 5 hours ahead of the scheduled debate time). Any chance you will publish your fact findings after the debate?
".......more than two dozen presidential debates during Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign". Dang, I kinda forgot there used to be more than one or two debates. But more that 24? I'm gonna need to do some fact checking right there, hahaha.
I wasn't planning on watching at all, but this may be something I'm willing to do. Thank you!
Great idea, thank for doing this!
I hope you have a backup computer ready to keep up with the avalanche of lies and falsehoods that are forthcoming.
Yes! this is what led Joe Biden to falter (totally).

I usually avoid the talking heads and watch on C-SPAN but will be with you then. Great idea, Judd!
Judd, you and your team continue to impress! Thank you.
Thanks Judd for giving us a platform to see the debate and not sponsor main stream media.
Great idea. I'll be there.
Thank you for this resource, Judd.

Wonderful! I’ll be here for it.

Hi Judd-- will your coverage of the debate (with fact check) be archived to watch later? I will be at a sporting event & will miss it.
