Fifty days ago, a mob incited by Trump's false claims of election fraud attacked the Capitol, leaving five people dead. Beginning Thursday evening in Orlando, conservatives will gather for a four-day event focused on perpetuating Trump's lies about the presidential election. Top Republicans from the House and Senate will participate. The entire affair will be streamed online by Fox News. And it will culminate Sunday night with Trump's first public speech since leaving office.
Criminals and their enablers who are not held responsible and punished will continue to corrupt, disrupt, and damage our fragile democracy. We live in a country where people are incarcerated for years due to minor offenses while traitors responsible for people’s Injuries and deaths are allowed to run free. The scales of justice are increasingly out of balance. Our democracy will not survive if this is allowed to continue.
I swear, every time that I think that the Republicans have hit rock bottom, they start digging furiously. If the country gets destroyed in the process of their relentless pursuit for power, they couldn't care less.
When I’ve read histories of countries in So. Am. and Eastern Europe, the Middle East I could never understand how they lost everything and ended up with dictators who did horrible things to the populace. I would ask myself why did they let it happen?” . “Why don’t they just rise up and overthrow this person?” Now I get it. Blind ambition, power, money and there is always a group of citizens that just don’t care one way or the other or are incapable of thinking critically, that accept even the most outlandish things. Along with police and military with authoritarian bents that can flip over in a heart beat. I get it now. I get it and realize how precious real freedom is and why we were seen as something special for as long as we were. It’s taken 30 years...it doesn’t happen over night...it could still happen here.
Great reporting but I am so disgusted by these people. To lie so frequently and have nobody challenge them is outrageous. This is how America has always been. Profits > everything. We have got to curb these shows that lie incessantly. This is not freedom, this is propaganda. It's so ironic that these same people claim to be patriots and care about the constitution when in actuality, they only care about themselves and their bank accounts.

Remember Mar.4 is the date Trump is supposed to triumphantly return to the White House according to the Q and far right rabbit holers. If you don't think this is timed to fire up those same people who stormed the WH to get fired up again, you are sadly mistaken. What message will be sent to them from CPAC?
Hunkering down and hopefully the Feds are prepared to handle what is coming. But judging from last time, I wouldn't bet on it.

As far as I can tell, they are trying to start a Civil War. As I stated before, these folks are well armed and supplied. Can we trust our LE and military not to side with them? That is my fear.
If a Representative or Senator will not state unequivocally that Joe Biden was elected President in a free and fair election, then they should not be seated. The courts, many which were filled with Republicans, turned down the 60 lawsuits that there was fraud, & Trump’s own appointed Attorney General William Barr said that there was no fraud that would overturn the results of the election. There is no proof that there was fraud; there are just accusations & lies because the Republicans don’t like the results. This is unacceptable.
