In all seriousness, it's a full-time job tracking all the money behind these candidates and PACs. I am glad that Galindo lost the runoff, but that she made it as far as she did espousing antisemitic tropes *as a Democrat* is obviously concerning. Thanks as always for helping shed light on these matters.
This is a story that needs major coverage on NYT & MS-Now. Voters need to know how slimy GOP operatives actually are. Especially if any laws were broken.
It's reminiscent of a GOP robocall operation a few years back, urging African-American voters to not forget to vote on Wednesday, November 4th. When, of course, election day is ALWAYS on a Tuesday. A few Republican operatives went to jail for that one.
They need terrible Democratic candidates to go against their own terrible candidates to have a chance to win. Once a Republican shows evidence of a spine, MAGA’s know that is a person they don’t want in their cult as evidenced by the recent elections in Louisiana, Kentucky and last night, in Texas.
If you are not a spineless suck-up MAGA’s have no use for you.
Sane Republicans know that the majority of Independents are going to swing back left and that every time a whack job like Paxton wins it decreases their chances of keeping their majority in November.

They can't win any other way, only by lying and cheating. This deception in pretending to be democratic pacs, supporting candidates that run as democrats but in reality are Democrats in Sheeps Clothing. My suggestion would be to register as Unaffiliated and when voting, vote blue. I'm trying this tactic in 2026. The only way for fair elections is getting money out of politics. Its going to be hard because when I see how much candidates are getting from PACs, they're becoming millionaires. I don't know what happens to the donations if they lose and haven't spent all the money on campaigning, but I'm curious. We are becoming a country run by greed. Look at the cost of everything, $10 for a jar of my favorite Chosen mayonnaise. I was in shock a few days ago at my local King Soopers.
Let them spend their money. Let them play their dirty tricks. We have entered a bad time as a country with little to no decorum or manners left anywhere. Let's see how their children grow up and use their daddy and mommy's methods of being politically active by snorting coke like Don Jr., cheating on their spouses and wallowing in the filth. How do you like those children now? Just doing what their parents and their parent's friends showed them how to do. No regrets?
