How did a company with thousands of employees and over $441 million in revenue last year — and $86 million cash reserves — benefit from this fund while thousands of real small businesses received nothing?
The Ruth’s Chris in Bethesda has (or used to have) a good happy hour where I used to meet friends occasionally. Thanks for letting me know that I need to add them to my list of companies that will NEVER receive a dime from me when this is over. I hope they go out of business.
Thank you for the amazing job you continue to do. Shedding light on our governments continued mismanaging of COVID 19 funds being diverted to large companies instead of small struggling businesses is critically important at a time when the one person who’s job it was to oversee the money’s distribution was fired by a man who has not spent even one day of his tenure behaving like a President; or a person with an iota of integrity.
Shine the spotlight brightly on this behemoth. They closed their Asheville, NC store completely I understand. I hate it for their employees but good riddance to an overpriced restaurant bad boy. The rich get greedier.
All the same. 1% benefitting from screwing the little guy. We have no Ruth Chris Steakhouse around here. But I am sure you could substitute a name. Fill in the blank is an unfortunate truism in 2020

Even if the government won’t release the names of companies receiving the loans, will the information be subject to FOIA requests?
I'll bet you that the Orange Asscactus Administration will fight any FOIA request tooth and nail.
Good question
So, as usual, big corporations take advantage of the system and screw the little guy.
Hey. It's the Drumpf era. Screw job on steroids.

The GOP thieves borrowing money from our children to give to already super-rich corporations, who will give donations to #Mangowanker. Makes me sick
I will never set foot in their establishments, nor my family. We're getting screwed by the wealthy and the GOP.

Thank you for all you do to keep us informed.
How the hell do you keep only managers when they have no one to manage? That it's so illogical is a spit in the face of everyday people.
