More corporations reacted against the 'bathroom bill' in NC than are outraged by the new TX anti-women's healthcare laws. I want to ditch AT&T. Has anyone tried CREDO mobile phone service?

We live in a world now controlled by sociopath corporations who care only about short-term money and are willing, eager to get it at others' expense.

It is quite instructive to realize that ATT has hundreds of thousands of employees who volunteer for their communities and go to church on the weekends, but during the week are willing cogs in a machine that is helping to ruin our country.

Mind-blowing to think of the millions of "Good Americans" who work this way in fossil fuel, tobacco, fast food, pharma, etc industries who are soldiers in battle to destroy our society in order so their leaders can make millions of dollars.

We knew it was a matter of time before this started again. AT&T has been a corporate megalo donor for years to much anti democracy work. They benefitted mightily from the GOP tax cut.

Playing both sides the field with "oh look how great we are" and doing just the opposite is the mantra of 1% corporations.

Tinder, a company that literally exists to encourage people to have sex with one another, couldn't be arsed to sign their name to a letter against this bill? Even if we overlook how draconian and wildly regressive the bill itself is, does Tinder not understand it's own business?

I am in the process of researching & switching from ATT Wireless - it makes no sense to do that without writing ATT first and telling them why in polite but firm terms -- people switch around all the time but might as well make it clear why and if enough people do that, maybe it'll affect the future == well, it's almost impossible to do so = other than having an office in Dallas TX [assuming CEO works there] I can't find a street address nor a fax number to send to == and unless I have a perfect address DeJoy won't let my mail go through. Good to have Popular Info on top of this issue -- I would like to know if AT&T gives $$$ to the even more dangerous insurrectionists == the Republican Attorney Generals Association -

Seriously. We have a choice between bad & worse in mobile carriers. Even Credo uses Verizon’s service lines so using them indirectly funds Verizon. WTF are we supposed to do except all go off the grid & give up our mobile phones?

Thank you for all this news == but what can WE do = I am a subscriber of ATT and also a stockholder. I will be writing management and considering switching to another carrier == but what else can I do? Is any stockholder raising the issue so that we can join together? Power in numbers - you have given us all the info we need but now we need to act and make it painful for ATT -

Keep it up on AT&T. So they didn't respond this time, but keep pressing them. Make them admit that they are two-faced and only care about their bottom line. Can't even commit to their own promise for a full calendar year. Why even say anything? Because they thought they could curb the public's opinion of them. Keep proving through your excellent reporting that they are liars and don't care at all about the ban. They only care about optics as do a majority of these corporations.

In the past 20 years, Texas became one of the states that people from other parts of the country chose to move to. I’m sensing a change of heart with some recent residents. The biggest problem is that by keeping a large part of their constituency poor and unable to vote, this victims can’t afford to move. Keep up the good work, Popular Information!

Although disappointing not surprising. I live in Atlanta and work in a health care organization. When the extremist abortion ban passed in Georgia all the major medical organizations did come out against but none of the major health care organizations/hospital systems did . My organization sent out an email to the medical group that said the bill was “controversial” and they weren’t taking a side. They also have a nonpartisan pac which donates to the Republicans who voted for this bill and for the voting restriction bill. At the same time they bill themselves as a leader in equity and diversity. Although they won’t change their behavior (because of the financial issues) I wish they (this is true of the other health care organizations as well) were called out for their hypocrisy!
