After innumerable stops and starts, Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) finally agreed on a legislative package, now called the "Inflation Reduction Act of 2022," that would lower prescription drug costs, extend health insurance subsidies, and reduce carbon emissions.
Your reporting of the hypocrisy of corporate actions vs corporate propaganda shows what honest independent journalism can, and is doing. We can no longer trust corporate owned media as it has incestuous relationships with what it purports to cover.
Great article. The Business Roundtable now has my ire. The led for Lehigh County moving their money from Wells Fargo made me smile.Yesterday I joined multitudes of MoveOn.org viewers in how to assist in the election to get the vote out.
Now one more question. Can you reveal how many GOP Senators get PAC and or donations from military supplier corporations, contractors/ supporters who might have voted no to last week's Veteran's Toxic Burn bill because of pocket lining? Especially Mr. Fist Bump, Ted Cruz.
Keep up the good work! High five. No more fist bumps for me.
The whole Business Roundtable organization should honestly be demolished in a highly public way! Maybe it's a brutal way to try and work towards ending actions like these, but could start to really make some dominos fall. One can hope, right? Thanks Judd for regularly keeping Business Roundtable front and center - I don't think many in this country know about it.
It’s too bad, though not surprising, this is the reason for following up on the Business Roundtable. It reminds me they need a lot more attention. A lot more.
Not exactly on topic, but It would be great to to find the least terrible internet company so I can divert my monthly $$ to them. Are there any national internet companies that are not supporting anti choice or climate hostile politicians?

As always, you are a justice champion. I see progress for the first time. The almighty business community needs an incentive: End Citizens United!
There are few things I would relish more from a Senate perspective than seeing Manchin and Sinema become irrelevant.

More corporate duplicity? Sigh. Color me unsurprised. Thank you Judd. You are doing God's work here.

Many of these corporations will continue to load up their private lifeboats with billions of $, right up until they sink from the weight.

I am not aware of s single positive thing associated with The Business Roundtable. Wealth and power concentrated. What possibly could go wrong?
Good work. Keep it up!
