First, love the high school students' activism. Something to be said about social media connecting young people in heroic and intelligent movements. Second, Tennessee is an embarassment. Like a beautiful women who opens her mouth and spews venom, this gorgeous state has delivered up some horrible stinking trash to America in the forms of Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson, both in the hall of fame in which Donald Trump belongs: shitty presidents.

Maybe the most unpatriotic thing elected or powerful people can do is to stop any citizen from voting.

Not Infringing on the right to vote, and without any burden (forget undue) needs to be a thing.

What's the reasoning for this legislation from the Tennessee GOP? I mean, it's BS, whatever it is, but how do they even pretend this is something fair and necessary?

In Judd’s post he stated: “The new restrictions on voter registration are purportedly an effort to make sure voter registration information is accurate” so that’s your answer. But like you said, “it’s BS” because as Judd also stated “The high school students' bill would actually solve that problem by using information already provided to DMV for voter registration. But it would also increase registration and, ultimately, participation. That's why it was rejected”

Pisses me off royally. Fascism and Republican become one definition, due to 1% monetary donations to the party, the elected and advertising. The 1%can be found in every bad thing happening in the country and world.
