I have only one question... Why is this not titled "Atlas Shrugged?" It's perfect. Facepalm! :P

The radiologist has been reading green tea leaves I think. IE Shredded dollars going into pockets out there in Palo Alto. If someone is the darling of the Trump Admin you can bet they, like Trump, are in it for the money. What he did on Twitter was threaten the Gov. Had I done that I would be in Twitmo.

I am so tired of all the BS in a politicized disease.

Wear the damn masks people.

As I responded on Twitter last night, I still think that the other man who, in recent memory, held the Dr. Death moniker was a far more caring person. Yes, Kevorkian was misguided in his methods, but I think his motives were those of compassion rather than the almighty dollar - unlike Atlas.

As a Michigander, I deeply resent Atlas' vilification of our governor and his undermining her efforts to stem the tide of the current spike. Many people in rural Michigan are already behaving as though they live in South Dakota. I see no need for anyone, much less a radiologist without the necessary epidemiology background, to be encouraging them further.

Atlas has made me truly uneasy since his ascension to the COVID task force. Have you investigated his motives for advocating herd immunity by natural viral spread so vociferously despite the moral bankruptcy of such a stance? Is there any information on Atlas’ ideas of race? This piece makes Atlas seem to be merely unethical and unqualified - which - don’t get me wrong - is truly appalling. I think his motives, however, are more insidious than just libertarian defense of personal freedom and economy. If embracing herd immunity through natural viral spread, significantly more black and brown folks will die, along with some “weak” whites. This fits with Trump’s ethos - he could care less about black/brown folks, and now that he has proven to be COVID Superman, any whites who die are losers. That is eugenics. In the absence of herd immunity via a vaccine, 1-2 million people would die, not just hundreds of thousands. There is a genocide in progress.

I wouldn't trust Atlas to read an x-ray of my big toe. ;}

Can't his medical license be revoked? Time for the AMA or the state licensing board to do more than issue weak proclamations.

Why is this "doctor" allowed to violate the Hippocratic oath he is required to abide by and spread lies? We need someone in the medical field to step up and denounce lies, like 'masks are NOT effective' when in fact they ARE. It's borderline criminal.

I’m just trying to wrap my head around why we give the losing president some much time to “burn the place down”?

“First do no harm.” Atlas’s statement that this Thanksgiving will be some people’s last Thanksgiving shows that he knows harm will follow if people follow his guidance. He needs to lose his medical license (just as “Dr.” Phil lost his license for violating the strictures of his profession).
