Facebook is "aiding and abetting the spread of climate misinformation,” said Robert Brulle, an environmental sociologist at Drexel University. “They have become the vehicle for climate misinformation, and thus should be held partially responsible for a lack of action on climate change.”
Zuckerberg is rapidly becoming the Fox News of the internet. Chief purveyor of lies, misinformation, and racism. If his board had an ounce of integrity they would force him to step down.
I wish websites would remove the "convenience" of being able to log into their sites by using your Facebook credentials. It's a subtle way of showing the "importance" of FB. Obviously this is a minor request, but every step away from FB is a good one.
As Deep Throat said, "follow the money" and Big Oil has tons of money. You can bet that Zuckerwanker was offered enough to buy a fourth super-yacht, this one an icebreaker yacht (google it), so he can escape to the north pole while the rest of us die.
Facebook has demonstrated its willingness to work outside the boundaries of law, ethics, and common decency; they even break their own purported "rules" without regard--any horse-crap explanation will do.
Facebook needs to be dismantled, restructured, social media needs independent, authoritative, & utterly-transparent oversight.
Prison sentences should be handed down.
The rage of The People is not something to scoff about; just look at the smoldering ashes where stood those who have incurred it.
When the world is right again, Facebook will not exist in its current form.
P.S. This is a great example why privatization of something that should be a PUBLIC ASSET (see any GOP pol's agenda.) is a very bad idea. Facebook has the unfettered power to remake the world in its image. In other words, Facebook is a huge threat to humanity. And, the people at the top of Facebook are not role models, unless you're really obsessed w/ pointless-greed, sickening-indifference, & the repeated guzzling of hot lard from a golden bucket. So, let's get to work.
