It has been shown, through the results of recent political outcomes, that money isn't the main factor. People are wise to trump's lies, and those of the republican party, when it comes to the claims they make in their advertising. Let them spend their money in ads...it would be more productive if they sent the money to the voters, a thing they always promise and never do.
Those recently elected in spite of being outspent, such as Mayor Mamdani, are providing what they promised to citizens. That goes a lot farther than the lies the R's are spending so much money broadcasting.
If all of the D candidates have to keep spending on defense ads, there goes their message. What strategy do they have instead? Dems have some pretty sexy surrogates who are pounding the pavement and ripping up the cornfields to get the message to rural voters whose main source of information is Fox and X. Oftentimes, it is hard to wrap my head around the fact that the republicans in my red State complain on and on about money to feed hungry children, about our brother and sister immigrants who do work they themselves wouldn't do, bemoan higher energy prices when the whole State legislature is a Republican majority and, yet, when it comes to voting, the republican complainers still press that "R" button and vote against themselves. Even when truth and facts are presented in a conversational way, truth and facts don't seem to matter.
And thanks to the un-Supreme Court, it's all perfectly legal. You see, political ads are not required to be accurate/true. That's a green flag to the red hat guys.
Can we run an advertising campaign which points out to people the source of "No Going Back" funds? It could something like, "If you've seen and ad or received a mailing from the "No Going Back" PAC you should know that it's coming directly from Donald Trump. Those ads are filled with lies and propaganda designed to get you to believe B.S. about honest, reputable people. It is impossible to trust anyone who would use such ads. If a candidate does, you know you can't trust them to tell the truth or pursue YOUR interests if they're elected. The mute button and the circular file were invented just for them.
