That ICE spokesperson quoted at the end of this piece and in the ABC News article should be named and shamed. This administration is full of straight-up ghouls.

The parallels to Nazi concentration camps get predictably closer. Planned?

If it walks like a Nazi and talks like a Nazi, it's Stephen the Miller.

Shame shame, shame. And now that Noem is gone with her cruel tactics, this hillbilly fool is staying below the radar. Do you think he knows what he is doing? Why are all of these people so inhumane? The "detainees," for the most part, are not criminals or bad people. They are merely living their lives, trying to provide for themselves and their families, and are swept up in these ICE raids. It is WRONG. It is un-American. and it is a huge stain on our country. All magats must go, all of them.

And, btw, even the most heinous of criminals should be treated like human beings, and not inconvenient trash.

Thank you for shining a light on the inhumanity of our/my government, Judd and team. We are organizing ourselves to change our leadership to those with the competence and character to put an end to this humanitarian crisis.

Add to this excellent investigation - today’s news also includes reporting on a huge surge in the use of force against detainees in these same facilities.

And the Republican’s are all OK with this. Disgusting. Voting for any Republican for any office, federal, state or local, needs to be considered an act of treason.

Thanks for this information. I’ll contact my members of Congress today. This is unacceptable!

If they are anything like my Rep in NY1, they couldn’t care less!

The cruelty being the point, I’m a bit surprised ICE officials even pretend to care about the health of the people imprisoned.

ICE, following the guidance of Stephen Miller, does not see the people that have been rounded up (kidnapped) and imprisoned as human beings. They are animals and not worthy of care. So what if they die, one less to deport. One less to starve. Every single one of them needs to be put on trial when the reign of terror ends. They are no better than Nazi camp guards.

Just another example of the evil we are living through. Thank you republicans.

Judd keeps letting the light in - Thank You! Everyone do as Lesley…call your congressman & Senators!

Typical Trump, stiff the people actually doing the work. POS

Thank you, Mr. Legum, for keeping the light on a system overrun with greed, so at the very least we can see our own part in it.

Every one of us wears the shame of allowing ICE detainees to be treated so poorly. We should bow our heads deeply in apology, and stop this madness now!

We should all realize by now that we can expect nothing else from the Trump regime. They are grossly incompetent and will lie through their teeth to claim otherwise. Nothing they say can or should be trusted to be true.

The agenda each member of the Trump administration is pursuing is carefully hidden, even from Trump (who doesn't care as long as they pat him on the head and say nice things about him). It's all far worse than we can even imagine. It's going to take us a decade or more just to unravel the multifaceted financial mess because they're spending massive money without authorization in many situations and withholding money Congress has appropriated in others.

The Trumpers are inummerate. None of them (even the financial guys) understand numbers in any detail greater than small, medium, large, and huge. They can't manage their way out of a wet paper bag. They fired all the auditors and are likely not keeping accurate (if any) records.

They're going to keep right on doing whatever they want and Congress and the American people can go to perdition. It will take forensic auditors a decade to figure out where we are as far as catching up paying the bills congress authorized, figuring out how much income the government actually had, and where it was all spent. The sooner we pull the plug on this evil clown show of incompetents, the sooner we can start putting things back together and fighting our way out of the bankruptcy hole we are already, undoubtedly deeply in.
