Armed masked thugs show up at polling places at their peril at least here in NY where local election officials can eject them, and if they refuse to leave, have them arrested.

Jen Baron's avatar

Hmm, yet where I live Suffolk County NY-1, I’m not sure the police would remove them, just ask them to stand 100 feet away.

Peter's avatar

That's too bad. Even here in Central New York (but not in Madison County where the sheriff is a true MAGA) the cops would act if the masked thugs were threatening.

Ah, yes...skateboarding, a notorious vector for voting fraud. 🙄

On top of this all being a dangerous waste of time and money, it's also incredibly dumb in how it's being carried out. Par for the course for the Trump administration, but it bears repeating.

To be forever remembered as…

The DUMB Presidency.

Yes, DUMB with a "B"

Kathy Koblik's avatar

probably we should be glad for the dumb

The same cast of characters keep popping up. That should make it easier to round them for their fraudulent activities. When the non-Kash Patel FBI do a deep investigation into Heather Honey, I hope her life is as destroyed as she has done to innocent people trying to live their lives.

Thanks much for this report. The more we know the better to stop Trump and his looney loyalists before they screw up the elections!

What is going to take to wake up the American People? I live in a Blue State in a Red House district. The ignorance is stunning around here. This is not an “uneducated” area. I’m shocked and disgusted by my own neighbors.

Thanks to Rupert Murdock and him minions at FOX "Fake News," The Wall Street "Urinal" and the NY "Joke" who have been brainwashing its audience for 30 years with the drip, drip, drip of half-truths, misinformation and outright lies. Propaganda that has divided our country and destroyed our democratic republic.

Greg Kapphahn's avatar

Don't forget the "evangelical" churches and some Catholic Parishes (depending on the Priest). They have sold their souls to the Republicans and largely deserted their actual purpose for existing to chase after money and power, and in the case of the "evangelicals," the promise that jumping through whatever hoops their very HUMAN leaders tell you are required will magically turn God into your own cosmic concierge.

Fascism keeps rolling ahead with almost no pushback. We are a pathetically weak country that believes itself to be an exceptionally strong one.

Linda Slater's avatar

The pushback is genuinely grassroots. Except for some Democratic Congress members and some valiant lower court judges, there is no one in our government who has not surrendered to Trump

and the traitors from the Heritage Society.

It really is up to us voters to save democracy.

More continued attempts to undermine legal elections.

Looking for ones birth control pills in the bottom of your purse or under the seat of your car does not make one a “private investigator” any more than standing in a garage makes one a car.

I still can’t believe that there is Law enforcement in the US that wear masks and no identification.!

Michela A. C.'s avatar

Since those illicit networks dont exist you know they will make shit up.

Mark's avatar

The only way Republicans can win any election is by cheating. Period. Hard Stop.

Michela A. C.'s avatar

And they will cheat. Tina peters punk ass has already been to the white house to talk about how to take control of all the voting machines and using kegseths military to do it.

Everyone, even Maga, knows that illegal voting is so rare that it doesn't affect election results and registrations can occur unknowingly without subsequent voting. All Trump et al need to do is find one or two registration unicorns to get Maga into a frenzy and claim fraudulent results. Since there always are normally meaningless unicorn or two in every election (A couple hundredish out of roughly 150 million votes), they believe it is worth the time and money.

The question then becomes how far will they go?

Shawn Miller's avatar

The same thing regarding criminal illegal aliens. Once a crime is identified (even though data shows that the majority of crimes are committed by American citizens), that anecdotal information is pointed to as “proof” over and over again by Maga.

RobWhitH's avatar

This whole fraud thing from top to bottom reflects Trump's total pathological failure to ever accept responsibility for his actions. He lost to Biden; Biden beat him. Trump can't believe it.

Kathy Koblik's avatar

YIKES!

and besides that ....one more way to use scads of taxpayer money that doesn't help us....maybe we need a department of government efficiency to investigate?

I know the fear for democracy (and privacy and honesty) is greater ....but I just really want all the receipts of wasted money to be kept so as we have difficult decisions to make reducing debt, funding things that keep all us safe, helping folks - it's clear what is gone due to grift, malfeasance, bribes, grandiose pyramids to the eternal glory of D. T.

THANK you for your amazing and continuing documentation and investigations.

All this because trump couldn't bear the idea that he had lost the 2020 election (and he knew he did). His willingness to cleave the country in two, to lie shamelessly, to enlist election-deniers into top jobs in the government to prove that noncitizens are voting "by the millions" is outrageous and dangerous. I can see his soldiers in his administration--and his militia allies--falling into formation to rig one of the most important elections in our nation's history. It's an autocracy vs. a democracy proposition; those are the stakes. Vote. Vote early if you can and be prepared for them to throw many nails on the road to the polls. The irony is that if Stephen Miller's wet dream of deporting all people of color from the United States, who would they have to blame for illegal voting? Hang in, everybody. It's a bumpy road ahead.

Greg Kapphahn's avatar

It is important for all of us to realize that the people seeking to locate imaginary illegal voters are psychologically damaged and have huge personality deficits. These deficits and that damage cause them to wrap a worldview around themselves that doesn't admit any evidence that would call on a piece of their damaged personalities to which they no longer have access.

That same psychological damage (often inflicted by the families, communities, and religious organizations in which they were raised), means they base their lives not on facts and evidence, but on what they were been taught "must certainly be true."

Because they believe themselves to be unquestionably right (as in they cannot allow questions and countervailing facts to enter their awareness), they find it incomprehensible that so many of the voters across the nation disagree with them. As the result, when they lose elections, it MUST be because of some type of cheating. (On the other hand, they are so convinced that they are completely correct about everything that cheating on THEIR side is understandable and excusable.)

They will continue forever (or as long as let them do so) their endless search for how the other side is cheating, based on the idea that such cheating absolutely MUST exist, because to do otherwise is to entertain the possibility that they, themselves, might not be in possession of all truth.

This will probably even continue for them after they leave this life behind, because, upon finding that the "heavenly banquet" has lots God's children who were GLBTQ folk, liberals, feminists, etc., in it, they'll head off into the outer darkness to spend eternity searching for the heaven their very HUMAN early leaders promised them - "streets paved with gold."etc. with special dwellings reserved for people as "faithful" as they regarded themselves to be, a heaven which they are convinced absolutely MUST exist.

Because their view of election cheating is NOT reality based, there is nothing we can do and no evidence we can present that will convince them that they are losing elections because of their false ideas and beliefs. For them elections are only fair and accurate (and holy) IF THEY WIN.

“So what has Honey been doing for the Trump administration? We now know a lot more, thanks to the results of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by Democracy Forward released Wednesday”.… why clearly Honey been riding on the Honey wagon (aka, back in the day as the garbage truck) 🤧 you could smell it com’n + go’n…. Can’t wait for the stench of the Trump Honey wagon to be go’n…

Greg Kapphahn's avatar

In farming country, a "honey wagon" was a giant tank filled with liquified pig manure, meant to be hauled out and sprayed on farm fields as fertilizer. It was some of the rankest smelling stuff around (far worse than cattle manure).

When a farmer was spraying pig manure on their fields, you could smell it for many miles. If you lived within about three miles, you'd want to go indoors and shut your windows for a day or two until the smell faded.

Larry Carr (autocarr)'s avatar

You stunk me on better… that’s a honey wagon for sure 🤧
