We have a sub class of people in this country who, in their arrogance think they are entitled to do anything they want and dare us to challenge them. It is past time we DO challenge them and make them the pariahs that they deserve to be. From the local liar/ braggart to the Corporate CEO, to these low- lifes who think they are governing us. But there culture of endless lies is abetted--even created--by FOX News. "They're eating the dogs and cats in Ohio," and thousands of other lies were spread by FOX News, and then repeated by GOP politicians.
It could be reasonably argued that the divisions in this country began to be serious when Rupert Murdoch started Fox, and called it a news channel.
Most of the people don’t know or refuse to acknowledge that Murdoch had it legally changed to an Entertainment Network in order to evade lawsuits over their constant lies. The people I have talked to…….faithful Fox viewers…….really believe that they are getting the TRUTH from Fox, and that anyone who does not swallow the lies coming out of those lying “newsmen/ fake blond women” are the ones who do not know the “TRUTH”. They are too far gone in their delusion to be reasoned with. Too sure that they are right, too proof against facts or logic. Just a useless, lost bunch of intentionally ignorant fools.
But not only do we--as high information liberal voters--need to reach our FOX-addled countrymen (and family members!), but we MUST do so. Our democracy's survival DEPENDS upon it. Most of us do not know that FOX programming is the beneficiary of nearly two decades of RW thinktank-funded research into Behavioral Psychology, principally on using anger/grievance as a physiologically addictive crutch, to both make money and gain political power.
Liberal media programming--primarily MS Now and independent podcasters--are successfully replicating this strategy, albeit as truth-based; stoking a ton of grievance against horrible Trump2 and GOP policies. The Dem Base is energized, yes. But will it be enough to carry us forward, into '28 and beyond?
The thing about body cams is you can wear them all you want, but if they're turned off -- or if you intentionally turn them off at certain moments -- they're not effective. All of this is moot, of course, if you don't buy them in the first place, and Pop Info quite literally has the receipts to prove ICE/DHS is lying. That Tom Homan, among others, would try to blame the shutdown and specifically Democrats is shameful, but as we know these people are incapable of shame, so there's no reason to expect better.
ICE lies about everything. Body cams, multiple eyewitnesses, citizen or news video won't change the fact that when ICE murders a citizen or immigrant they will lie about it. The solution - states need to start arresting the murderers...immediately. Their identities are not secret no matter how hard they try. Put them on trial, the evidence is open and shut. And send them to the nastiest prison in the state. That may be the only deterrence. And when Trump is gone every agent hired from 1/20/25 onward should be fired. Every supervisor should be fired. Homan, MIller, Noem and Mullin (and others) should be jailed. And ICE should be abolished.
Put a spotlight camera on the ICE body cam purchases, and ICE excuse melts quickly. Let’s melt the ICE, and the whole band of grifters …Susan Collins that includes you.
They should make the equipment DHS officers wear be a set. If they are going to have a kevlar vest, helmet, and gun then they should have a body camera that they can not turn off. As a set they would get all or none.
First of all, in a time when every other house on the block has a ring camera and every business has video surveillance, I don't believe for a moment that that there is no clear video of the Araujo killing. That nothing has "emerged" only means no one has leaked them.

Many bystanders also recorded the murder of the US citizen by a representative of her own government, just as the murder of the US citizen, Mr Pretti, was recorded on phones by multiple witnesses. Laws, video recordings and eye witness accounts do not matter when criminals control and operate the justice system. These murders are now happening so regularly that in our nation they have now become as normalized as school shootings. Just like lying.
Everything they say is a lie until proven otherwise. Why does anyone believe they were not using body cameras during the recent 2 killings? Cell tower data can verify if live video was being transmitted at a specific time and place. Why isn’t any demanding the data? We need to assume they have body camera video unless they provide the cell data showing their cameras were off. If they are lying and actually have video of these events, this needs to be known.

Any money given to this government for legitimate purposes winds up being taken by trump and used for his personal purposes, or to bribe someone.
Congress must not give this government another penny. Better to shut it down than to send our taxes to be stolen and misused.
