On Saturday afternoon, former FBI agent Charles McGonigal, who was head of counterintelligence in the New York Field Office and a part of the investigation into supposed ties between Trump and Russia, was arrested over his alleged ties to Russia.
Charles McGonigal, the head of the NY FBI’s counter intelligence division, and Peter Strzok’s boss, is reportedly planning on pleading guilty to dirty business dealings with both Albania and Russia.
This was the man who tried to frame me as a Russian asset.
Yes, McGonigal was involved with Oleg Deripaska, the Russian oligarch who Paul Manafort, Donald Trump's campaign manager, had a $10 million contract with to influence politics, business deals, and media coverage inside the U.S., Europe, and former Soviet republics to benefit Putin and Russia.
