More than 18 months after the 2020 presidential election, the Big Lie — the discredited claim that Trump won but was the victim of voter fraud — lives on.
I wonder if Cinemark took advantage of the financial assistance offered to businesses adversely affected by the COVID pandemic. So in effect we, the taxpayers, are potentially financing the spread of this awful misinformation and outright lies.

These people on the right like Dinesh and Prager are smart enough to know that their target audience are braindead empty vessels who are incapable of using logic and reasoning. They rile these racists and misogynists up and drum up fake controversy. Then repeat. Their playbook is so transparent and yet it works all the time. Only good thing I can take from this article is that Cinemark is hopefully losing tons of money since the pandemic hit.
I had no idea about Cinemark, which owns one of my favorite theaters in West Philly. Just posted a review sharing some of this info. I hope at least a few folks vote w their $$!

There is no solution to this except vote in 2022 like the existance of the United States of America depends on beating the GOP. Because it does.

How can a major theater film chain put this garbage in front of a mostly naive audience like this, and in those numbers? I do not understand why someone with power and resources has not sued D'Souza for personal injury and fraud. This is unbelievable. I wish your readers were influential and powerful enough to do something - maybe some of them are! Thanks for all you do! Freedom of Speech? I guess. It's time for a DECENT, brilliant film-maker to do some Trump coverage and release it as a flashy new film.
