I’m worried too about what is in our future even if Joe Biden is declared the winner. He will literally be facing an abyss. Trump has so hollowed out the internal workings of our vital departments that just getting them peopled again will be huge. The vital institutional memory of so many areas of expertise has effectively been erased. It will take years to recover all that has been lost and that’s assuming that good, honest people will finally step up, run for office, apply for government jobs and help rebuild what we’ve almost lost. This time though, make it a true reflection of the best of America and all we stand for. This is a job for the next two generations so sit back. It’s going to be a bumpy ride even under the best of circumstances.

Yes, agreed. They fight dirty. Why shouldn't we?
Because we don’t.
And that's why they've effectively won, at least with respect to the judicial system.
"Anything to win" is the mantra of the GOP. Voting is through the roof across the country. So is the attempt to disenfranchisement.
Let's hope that pundit is wrong and the closet Trump voter isn't the force that re-elects him.
