Well covered Judd. Team members here were in the throes of drafting a post on this very point, and you got to it first. We'll end up sharing this if OK with you.

I am really curious about what party affiliation the voters were. I dare say it is even, and that most if not all double voters were doing it because they were unsure if their mail-in would arrive on time. A thousand votes does not constitute voter fraud, but rather voter insecurity. Get your act together, Georgia!

So what’s new? This has been in the republican playbook for years just waiting for an opportunity to be used. Lo and behold, in walks Dump and his army of disenfranchisers.

On September 3rd “Trump explicitly advised his supporters to engage in the conduct now being condemned by Raffensperger.“ Trump tells people to vote twice then a Georgia Republican SoS points out that people have done just that and says they will be prosecuted. That doesn’t smell bad in the least 😒

Obviously, in "red states" we are going to have to face the fact that thousands will be disenfranchised. It's horrible and wrong, but it's going to happen. Here's my bigger question, though: How the hell did the Democrats allow this to happen, especially in so many states which aren't always "red"? This is a problem not only in the deep south but in states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc., as well.

I’m confused...the people in Georgia who voted twice are being fined and prosecuted because this is blatantly illegal and yet, our elected ‘leader’ Has been telling people to do just that and he’s not being prosecuted.
