Thank you for once again doing this important reporting. It's pretty much the usual suspects, of course, with the exception of the Ohio sports franchises. How can We the People send the message to these behemoths that support of the literal Guardians of Pedophiles is unacceptable to us?

Judd is once proving that sunlight is the best disinfectant. Outing the corporations that paid for Vivek's slime bath. Let's hope the MSM picks up this story, amplifying it further. Until maybe just maybe, these corporations publicly disavow Ramaswamy's odious lack of morality and decency.

Also telling that Vivek aligned himself with the Pedophile-Protection wing of the GOP. Just like his boss, friend and ally, Donald Trump. Attacking the victims of childhood sexual assault just seems like a Republican thing to do.

Vance, too.

Horrifying to any sane person. The fact the campaign is doubling down on it with new ad buy is doubly horrifying.

The Republican Party is following Trump’s lead in their race to the bottom.

Vivak would pay the defense council bills of the Cornell 7 if it helpes Republicans dehumanize women.

There is no excuse for Vivek’s vicious attack on Amy Acton other than he is desperate and a vile human being. I will not support him or his sponsors.

Her mother looks so terrible on the ads, like a street person. And to speak of her own daughter like that for national television? Absolutely the BOTTOM of the barrel.

NubbyShober's avatar

Makes me wonder how much they paid her for that ad.

The subsequent counter-ad, featuring Amy's brother, practically brought me to tears. Amy has been a hero all her life. And Ramaswamy, a corrupt grifter with no moral bottom.

Ramaswamy is just one among thousands who are unable to understand what common decency is. In Trumpworld, winning is the ONLY goal, and if that means achieving that on the bodies of anyone who gets in your way, too bad.

In short, these are people who lack morals. Not people who should be anywhere near power in any government.

I hope Ohioans recognize the disgusting Vivek for what he is—a fascist liar who will do the most despicable things to obtain power. Her mother is a disgusting criminal as well. Vote for Amy!

The best way to help Amy Acton is to vote for her. Then boycott every business that provided funds for the ad including the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns. Those of us who don't live in Ohio can turn off the TV when any of those teams are playing our favorite team and let the network know why we aren't watching.

Each day I say a little prayer thanking ALL the Gods that Trump put so many ignorant and narcissist personalities in positions where their hate, corruption and cruelty would be expressed by the very commission of the tasks he assigned to them.

Maybe Trump got ONE THING right when he decided that no one should get "too much credit".

Or in the case of women, where the jobs were never more than temporary.

Bela's avatar

Your prayer goes a little too far for me.

Ramaswamy’s campaign must have known that Arthur was not credible&was in fact vile.

Mari Wilson's avatar

Of course they do. They don’t GAF. Rump has normalized SA.

Vivek's GOP is the Guardian Of the Pedophiles. Amy represents what the GOP should be, the Guardian Of the People.

Amy Acton's mother appears to have mental illness. It seems, not just from this incident but all of the past events, she has shown time and time again that she is incapable of taking care of herself, her children and her animals. She has been swayed, convinced, coerced and likely had all kinds of abuse hurled and put up on her. I don't feel sorry for her, but in a way, I do. She has, once again, been the victim of abuse and coercion by Ramaswamey and his minions. I believe if we could look at Acton's mother's childhood, we would find it littered with men like her second husband.

As for the corporations, shame, shame, shame, once again, on the companies the run America.

Trump & Co: Turning Fed agencies into Trumpian propaganda platforms while running a RICO enterprise that enthusiastically coordinates with war criminals & dictators while transferring wealth to the wealthiest & cutting funds for science research & the neediest among us.

Trump &. Co projection of & gaslighting with their grift fraud & serial criminality is endless.

The silence of those companies that did not respond is deafening.....they can never wash off the slime .. thank you as always for this

Thanks for exposing the corporations who probably do contribute to both parties just to cover their greedy asses. And they may not have known the content of this this particular ad. But they MUST know by now that the GOP is utterly corrupt and has no bottom to their indecency. To contribute ANY support to this nest of vipers makes them all complicit in the smears, lies and corruption.

"Actions speak louder than Words"......however, "actions and words" have become intermingled in the hateful ad which Vivek Ramaswamy, the candidate for Ohio governor, chose to run against his opponent, Amy Acton, although there was proof that her life story of being sexually assaulted by her stepfather and abandoned by her mother was true. This was a choice by Ramaswamy and now perhaps he is realizing that this choice has shown his lack of a moral compass and why would voters think they should vote for him to govern the State of Ohio. His ad also shows the lack of moral compass of JD Vance, who has espoused the Trump administration of cruelty, hate and lies.

Ohio should hold its head in shame that winning at any cost is all that matters. Yes, Ohio has been a very red State and the Ohio legislature has kept a lock on power. Voters voted for fair redistricting maps and WE the PEOPLE won but the Republican lawmakers fought to stop the gerrymandering of the State to keep their lock on power.

The corruption in State government has become more and more evident and more and more citizens are waking from the nightmare of the Trump administration and the rot that has creeped into our State government. WE the PEOPLE of Ohio are ready for changes and we must be vigilant and ready to make those changes happen on November 3rd.
