Unlike the present occupant of the now "Offal Office", President Carter did not rush the process. He stayed with it.. only calling his mother and asking her to pray for him.
Frankly, I believe all the parties to the negotiation from the warring countries understand how inept Witkoff and Kushner are at negotiations, but don't care because they can continue the conflict hoping to achieve their goals. To me, it is and always has been a sham the real purpose of which is to enrich the Witkoff and Kushner families.
