I hope the rest of us remember that Chris Krebs said we had had the safest election in history in 2020 and was immediately fired for it.

So, what they are aiming for is an election that get the RESULTS that they want rather than fairness. What they are doing is called lying, the brand name for GOP politics today.

Yep. Voting like Putin's elections. See the trail of pebbles from there to here.

These rabid republicans , if they’ve ever told the truth, they don’t now.

What is this cult like response to Donald Trumps message of lies and fabrications and more lies are repeated often enough , that they have created agencies to protect their lies, RSLC was created to effectuate the lie that the 2020 election was crisscrossed with every kind of voter fraud imaginable.

Now they cover their tracks with organizations that actually work to benefit lies regarding elections as well as suppressing the votes of minorities and democrats who actually support the truth.

Think about this; people lying to support the lie, and creating false organizations to perpetuate this very lie,

This is by any stretch

Pure evil.

Sorry , i know the word is all too common today .

There is a book by Scott PeckMD where in he speaks of encountering evil in his chosen profession, as a psychiatrist.

The book , “ People of the Lie”, a best seller subtitled

“The hope for healing human evil” 1983 by

Scott Peck MD

Also authored , “The Road Less Traveled”.

I think we are now forced to look at these ‘societal

manipulations’ by republicans for what they are . They are Evil.

All because irresponsible cowardly Republicans concerned far more about their own power and position sat idly by while the whiniest sore loser in the history of sore losers pissed and moaned and whined and lied about losing, creating the Big Lie which is now THE litmus test for anyone claiming to be a Republican.

Backed by 74 million Republican voters in 43 states where GOP controls the legislatures. You do reize they could change the US Constitution even tho they are in minority numbers, right?

Vote Blue and get out the blue vote.

Who all think that when their Republican heroes destroy Social Security and Medicare they will not be affected because those cuts will be targeted at brown people, immigrants and libtards (a guy with both Trump and DeSantis stickers on his car told me so yesterday after I suggested he could save time by just having a single sticker that said "ANY FASCIST BULLY 2024")

It would be awesome if you would highlight the people running against these Republican election deniers to give them a boost so people remember their names as they go into the voting booth. As it is, by just talking about the Republican, their name recognition gets boosted without a commensurate boost to their Dem opponents. I'll start--it would be great to talk about Destiny Wells who is opposing Morales in Indiana. She's a combat vet, a lawyer, young, dynamic and a great candidate. People should get to hear about her in contrast to Morales, b/c Indiana needs to convince people to turn out, and people don't turn out to vote against someone...they turn out to vote FOR someone. Do you mind doing a follow up about these deniers' opponents to help them win?

In every case all you need to know is who the D beside the candidate.

And this mantra:

Vote Blue no matter who

Truly a year of hold your nose if you have to, the GOP is so much worse.

You're absolutely right. But we're competing against both the R and the couch (people staying home), so we need to give them a good reason to get out and vote. If they don't have a good impression of the opponent, they might just stay home and hope their abstention votes someone out. And that's better than voting for the R, but even better is them coming out and voting for Ds all the way down the ticket. Sadly, vote blue no matter who is just a slogan. People respond much better if they have a name and a face to put with the candidates, and a reason they feel to cast their vote. Fear doesn't mobilize Dems. Loss aversion does, but only with a positive thing to vote FOR in opposition. That's why the whole "protect your freedoms" campaign. It gives people both something to vote FOR, and activates loss aversion--people don't like losing their freedom. We know the strong liberal base will come out and vote. But we need surge voters...people who only vote during Presidential years, we need young voters, we need infrequent voters...and again, they need faces and personalities, and to feel that their vote matters.

Judd, you perform an invaluable service for those who are paying attention and appreciate this knowledge. It's astounding how much greed blinds the greedy. If this RW takeover were to happen, these companies actually think they have bought their way into favor? As trump said in one of Bob Woodward's chilling interviews, "it's mine (the presidency), everything is mine!" What a dystopian future we face as so many of us blithely go about our lives. Whatever you do, please don't allow that friend to withhold their vote because "the democrats take us for granted." They do, but now is not the time to make a statement dammit. It's about survival!

If the worst were to happen and these individuals were elected whilst riding on Trumps coattails in order to be re-elected, how many would actually follow through on their threat to put Trump back in office no matter what they had to do? Wouldn't they be putting their careers in jeopardy and while taking on the liability of being indicted for falsifying election results, possible charges of sedition, racketeering, collusion, face fines and jail time? Perhaps 20% of their election counting crowd might be aware of their vote count falsification and become whistle blowers? I am not sure they could get away with their threats.

A little frightening. This is from Wikipedia on Hitler- His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it

To an extent I think we need to just let it play out. An infection of delusion has spread through the electorate. Just yesterday my plumber was on about “Biden taking away cash on December 18” or some such nonsense. The people are sick in the head and reason cannot cure them. Now those who’ve been bamboozled into unwitting fascist sympathy aim to exclude others from the vote as part some kind of righteous crusade. They don’t even understand the gravity of what they’re trying to do here, and the kind of people who will ultimately take advantage (spoiler: billionaire oligarchs).

So long as we hold onto our second amendment, we should retain the means to restore reason. Just pray they don’t turn the military on citizens, as the former guy already tried.

"Meanwhile, many of the nation's most prominent corporations are making large donations to the RSLC." Of course, they are.

I suggest that instead of the argument against our current inflation as being over 50% caused by corporate profit-taking...that the heads of each of the culpable corporations be named during the next few weeks. For example, who at Abbott (maker of most baby formula) made the decision to take huge profits during the pain of so many worried mothers? Let's find out if it's the CEO or CFO, and give their names. People remember more if people are described--"corporate donors" or "corporations" sounds abstract, but these are human beings acting heartlessly selfishly, and I ask, expose THEM. If inflation is given as the reason the Democrats will lose to Republicans, would you clarify which Republicans are responsible? I would be shocked if any Democrat CEO would approve of this price gouging.

Thank you Judd and Rebecca!

One aspect of the election integrity issue that concerns me is the false dichotomy that the Republicans have created to divert attention from most Republican candidates’ lack of qualifications for office. As long as the Democrats are arguing about the last election, they aren’t talking about their superior qualifications to govern. OF COURSE election integrity matters. And Democrats believe in it just as much as Republicans do. They should pledge to ensure that every eligible voter will be able to vote WITH the certainty that their votes will be counted accurately and completely. Everything else is just details.

No matter what obstacles the Republicans invent to make voting more difficult, the Democrats should enlist volunteers to educate, transport, and otherwise support anyone who wants to exercise their voting rights. And while they have control of Congress and the Presidency (however briefly) they should enact laws to make sure Trump’s grift will be patently illegal if he’s ever elected again. If he’s neutralized, and the checks and balances are strengthened, perhaps the damage can be minimized and the threat to democracy can be averted.

Scarier times await if they win. And since they are running in states where GOP control state legislatures it's a wash against Democracy. A perfect storm.

If Roevember doesn't get out vote I don't know what will!

And

For Gray Panthers like me, social security I paid into stopped by the bunch of greedy damn Republicans got me out my first chance to early vote.

Ron Johnson the A hole actually sent 3 emails today trying to get ME to send him a donation. I hate the 1%. I sent $ to Mandela Barnes instead on Act Blue,

and I did volunteer phone bank for Mark Kelly. I am doing what I can for the future of my kids and grandson.

But I get your point. Do what you can to get out the vote.
