Gig economy and AI. As a realtor I give my broker 26% of my 3% sales commission and am an independent contractor. I have a desk to sit at for 30 per month, pay 12 for my lock box key and 650 a year for the mls. I sure understand what this is all about.

When the newspaper run by Warren Buffett laid us off in 2017, at 60, I had few options and now no health care. I struggle everyday. Thinking of taking on a Door Dash job, another gig economy job, to help pay the bills.

AI is Taking off. Self checkouts dumping clerks at stores. WalMart buying robots to clean and stock shelves. The biggest threat to Millenials future is artificial intelligence and robots. Have your robot, computer interface with mine and message me in the morning...

The AI piece is not new, though. Dig back into salaries in the late 70's/early 80's, and look at what happened to millions of receptionists and secretaries when PC's took hold. That's when wages first stalled, and they've never recovered. Meanwhile AI development has steadily increased, expanded, and been designed & utilized by corporations (which are people, after all :::insert expletive:::) to make them more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

btw, if you have no healthcare, I'm guessing you live in a state that didn't buy into Obamacare. Might be worth a move to one that did. But first, if you haven't already, do a deep dive into your state's insurance health plans. Make a phone call. IF you can get a real human being on the line, they may be able to give you an assist. btdt.

I had Obama care for 1 year. It went up to 1500 per month and quit covering my insulin which is 500 per month. My state did buy in. Judd wrote a great article about this months ago.
