The multiple, credible, allegations that Trump raped women and girls should have been and should be banner headlines every day until he is finally forced from office and into a courtroom to answer the charges. Trump has been allowed to evade and obstruct justice for far too long. Republicans who defend him and screen him should be held to account as well.
If this was hard for me to read, I can only imagine what it's like for survivors of sexual assault and rape to have to relive their trauma. I'm preaching to the choir here, but Donald Trump is truly a grotesque individual, and the people and systems that have shielded him from true accountability deserve scrutiny in their own right.
Will these victims ever see justice and these criminals ever see the inside of a prison wall? The rich and powerful seem to skate away from any accountability. It's disgusting.

So the DOJ issues a report that calls for a further report. I thought the DOJ report contained enough evidence to bring Trump to trial. Who needs more reports?
Having just sat on a jury that found the defendant guilty of second degree criminal sexual conduct and assault with a dangerous weapon against a six year old, having heard the testimony of the now 12 year old victim describing the events six years later, the amount of trauma that happens during the assault and the effects after is just as devastating as the lengths to which the guilty will engage in the denial of actions, gaslighting of victims and coverup of their crimes. I do believe that the arc of the moral universe moves to justice and we can not let the Epstein files go. Thank you for your continued reporting and exposure of these heinous people and their heinous acts.
I wonder what makes one qualified to be an independent investigator for the Epstein files. If they want serious non biased eyes laying out the truth, I feel like real journalists such as Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez and Julie K. Brown should be on that panel.
