The petition organizers are commonly known as liars. That’s an old-fashioned concept with Republicans and no longer has meaning.

Galante is entitled to believe what he wants to believe and create petitions if he so chooses. For the New York Post to amplify it in this way, though, that's low even for them. Shame on CBS New York, too, for not doing their due diligence and being forced to correct the record. It's depressing when outlets can't clear the already-low bar for journalistic standards.

Follow the money. I'm sure if you dig, and it won't be too deeply, you will find that AIPAC and Netanyahu are behind this latest smear campaign against Mamdani. And there are few more willing to amplify the Islamophobia more than Murdoch and his mouthpieces like the totally brainless Tomi Lauren. And what a lovely distraction from Trump's decision to make the Saudis into a nuclear armed nation.

The Mayor has shown full support for ALL New Yorkers with grace, kindness and compassion.

Spread more hate. That’s the way to do it.

Thank you for your accurate reporting. You fight the good fight for all of us who want accuracy and facts. The lack of rigor and thought going into Galante's account and so much of the 'titillation and anger at all cost' media is mind-boggling.

Manufacturing division and resentment is rotten and objectionable. Disseminating and spreading it is hate-mongering and irresponsible. Shame on all those outlets that gave vent to the author of this disgusting outrage.
