Great job, Judd. The GOP does not play fair in GA or anywhere else. The voting people of GA seem asleep at the wheel, but will they step up and Sue over these bills? Are they Constitutional? These new bills seem like Jim Crow dressed in more modern wording to me, but same intention. 2022 looms large for all of us.
Take it from a NC resident whose voting laws were tied up in friendlier courts still roiled voting requirements and rules up to our last election. There is a case now under Supreme Court consideration over one of the last legs of the Voting Rights Bill that will be a tell-tale sign over how this right wing Court will rule so suing is fraught with all sorts of unintended ramifications. I think constant public pressure is needed in such cases so that trump courts don’t get the chance to muck things up.
One cannot support democracy, and also suppress the vote. The very tenets of democracy demand universal participation. Furthermore, the heart & soul of America is in the People's God-given, inalienable rights, including the right to vote for our governmental representatives. Yet, the GOP consistently attacks our right to vote from every conceivable angle.
I'm constantly amazed at how much [we let] the Republicans lie and cheat and how they are FOR something as long as it stops certain voters from voting. It's not democracy.

Even if we can t avoid buying all their products we can make it known we are aware of this double dealing of the corporations, I know they give to both parties to spread their influence we need to make sure they know we will keep it in mind.

I have to think (read: hope) some of these measures can be overturned by the courts. They're so blatantly discriminatory.
