Pulling back the curtain on the ideological agenda of a media giant. Popular Information revealed that the lead anchor of Sinclair's national evening news broadcast, Eugene Ramirez, resigned over concerns about the accuracy and right-wing bias of the content he was required to present on air.
One of my English teachers (Mr. Ganz) in high school introduced our class to "The Jungle", authored by Upton Sinclair, one of the leading muckrakers of his time. I will never, ever forget that book or Upton Sinclair......or the term "muckrakers." I found Popular Information about two years ago, and I read every article Judd Legum posts. To me, Judd is the ultimate muckraker. I wish that every American would add Popular Information to their daily "must read" list......for, if that happened, Americans would be far less ignorant and far less "griftable" than is sadly the case.

Big question for the New Year. Do Trump et al believe that White Collar crime is in fact crime? Other than by political enemies, will white collar crime be allowed to occur freely under a Trump presidency?
I think we need to prepare for the elimination of much needed government protections.

Happy to hear that PI is expanding. My hope is that because of pockets of truthful reporting we will survive the new Gilded Age.
