Reading Facebook is like mainlining false information. We need to ask ourselves: when has Mark Z EVER kept his word and done what he promised? One would think he’s an incompetent idiot for how much false data slips by him. But he’s not.
The TRump administration has lied so much that I automatically don’t believe anything they say. When Dr. Fauci says a vaccine is safe, then I will be assured & get my shot/shots. I will still be careful: wear a mask, socially distance, wash my hands, as so many people still don’t believe in Science. I will soon be 76, & remember seeing pictures of children in iron lungs. If you have never seen that, do look it up; it’s sad & scary. I remember that my Mother drove me to another town so I could get a polio shot, the trip still vivid in my mind after all these years.
I left Facebook in May and had to archive my RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) Friday group. I was verbally attacked and harassed in the group and on Messenger because the members I removed for racist and misinformation posts were veterans. I had the group for 8 years without any problems until Trump was elected. I've supported our troops since I was in high school, but being a soldier or a veteran doesn't give you the right to be cruel and spread lies. I hope to unarchive the group one day and things will get back to normal.
I want to be part of the solution, not the problem but I do miss my group.
I foresee many anti-maskers and anti-vaxers simply going out without PPE after a vaccine becomes available, and falsely claiming that they’ve been vaccinated. But in fact they will be putting others at risk and possible shedding infection. We’ll have no way to determine the truth. Lying, selfishness, and lack of caring fir others has become their norm.
Facebook and Zuckerberg are pathetic.
Sadly I spent too much time with an idiot on my own little digital paper arguing about Covid and flu vaccines yesterday. He is a QAnon follower.
If the fools don't take flu shots which are available yearly, they aren't going to take the Covid vaccine, either.
We do what we can to protect ourselves.

I would argue there is a vaccine for misinformation. In this case it’s death by COVID & it’s permanent, indiscriminate & lethal.
