Comcast tried to do a lot more for election deniers by putting Ronna Don't-Call-Me-Romney McDaniel on NBC and MSNBC. Thank goodness for all the people, employees and viewers, who said no thank you.

Thanks for the list! Many corporations give to everyone without regard to any moral or ethical standards so that they can have the ear of Congress no matter what. All they care about is acccess, and anything they say about supporting democracy is bullshit.

Thank you for the list!

The choice is clear: Biden or Dictatorship!

Trump never really won (even though a clever electoral college move put him over the top despite the 3 million more popular votes for Hillary), but he has always supported those who flout the law in favor of getting more money...not earning more money, but GETTING more money by any means. And, that is the essence of Capitalism. We know that the Koch family has never had loyalty to this country; they have always used connections to Russia, and will play on the global stage to acquire more fossil fuel profits as long as they can. So, who has loyalty to this country and its laws that promote equality and justice for all? Those who have higher ideals, higher than greed and the other 7 deadly sins. Our country's ideals are truly worth fighting for. Thank you Judd and team for your ideals and tireless research.

Timothy Snyder, author of On Tyranny, made a great point the other day on air MSNBC that there is no economic upside to autocracy-these companies kid themselves thinking it's a good investment to "both sides" - the autocrat will extract what he wants and then take what's left-there is no real "economy". Authoritarianism does not always need to take power, it is given freely by those who believe that by giving something they will get something, but in the end authoritarianism gives nothing. Rough paraphrase. Highly recommend Tim Snyder-terrifying to see how far down the path to fascism we really are

If there was ever a reason to increase the number of judges on SCOTUS, a win for Dems in 2024 make that a near necessity. Ending Citizens United via SCOTUS needs to occur. Ending the neverending flow of cash by Corporations and uber wealthy is a necessity, if in fact this country is going to be representative of voters.

Every day, each dollar we spend is a vote for the world we want to live in. Conscious consumerism is part of the anti- authoritarian movement! Spend wisely

Nothing more meaningless than lofty statements of principles coming from large corporations.

I would be interested in seeing a list (if one exists) of companies that stuck with their pledge to not donate to anti-democracy, election denying candidates. If there are any that understand the importance of this and have integrity, I would like to reward them. Who are they?

I can’t stand these companies but the problem is that it’s almost impossible to Boycott most of these businesses. This goes back to allowing monopolistic control. The builder of my condo made a deal with Comcast. We can’t get our preferred option. Some rural locations depend on Walmart for food and general shopping, other businesses couldn’t compete.

What we can try to do is post these corporations as traitor supporting companies. This is still an issue with right wing chokehold on almost all media.

Perhaps a news story with a list of these deadly-seditionist supporting companies on the Times Square electric billboard and in all major cities.

No matter what, information is power. Thank you for that Judd. We can ALL pass this along to 4-5 people each! Similar to the Mothers’ Network.

We need an organized group to establish a protest letter so we can let these companies know that we are aware if their actions.

These corporations certainly have the option of donating to any cause they choose. If they choose to lie about not wanting to donate and then donate their funds to election deniers...they have that option. They have lost any trust that they may have garnered over their many years of service to their customers. (We/I call that, deceptive advertising)

I think the real definition is...they have lied...and then by continuing to support these individuals they have stated quite clearly that they see nothing wrong with supporting the anti-democratic anti American movement afoot to challenge the US election system's legitimacy/the Constitution, and Democracy.

Thus having this list, we as a democratic population have the option to do what we can do, if we choose...to continue to support these companies or not. They have made an obvious choice...now we have to respond or not. I for one will respond with my pocket book, by not paying into or in anyway supporting the income stream feeding these persons. What others do is up to them.

It seems the choice is pretty clear. If you want to support the election deniers don't make the effort choose a company that could care less about lying and supporting lies/liars. If you do care you'll make an effort to seek out those companies for your products and services that support those candidates that don't support the overthrow of the government and are a little more responsible about people/democratic principles/truth in government/accountability vs profits and covering their bets?

For those that care about their country...Just take the time to Print down the list and and start checking it off.

It's one of the only ways you have left to put an end to this chaotic hot mess of lies and alternative facts... Stop complaining about stuff and take some positive action. If you think it wouldn't matter...think about how sensitive these companies are to their monthly sales data. Damn straight it makes a difference.

And, sell every stock and mutual fund that invests in any of these companies.

On the point that Wells Fargo wouldn't provide a comment...let us not forget that Wells Fargo executives stole money from its own depositors.

Several of these companies have received shareholder proposals that will be on their 2024 proxy ballots (to be voted on in the next few weeks) that call for them to account for misalignment between their political donations and their stated values. If you own stock in these companies, look out for these proposals when they mail (or email) you the ballot : Home Depot, Comcast, UnitedHealth, Verizon and Pfizer. Vote in favor. And urge other shareholders, especially institutional ones that hold large blocs of stock (like pension funds, and foundation and church endowments) to vote in favor.

Thank you for this list. I try to boycott these bad players. It's not hard to boycott Walmart, Exxon, the airlines, etc., because you can make a conscious choice. However, FedEx and UPS are impossible to avoid. It's insidious and the only way to stop this is to get rid of Citizens United AND pass some reasonable laws that make corporate donations to PACS or candidates illegal.
