Sadly, they want the disfunction which ultimately leads to distrust and then people disrupting so they can put their boot on the necks of the people. It's an authoritarian playbook as old as time. I'm a community organizer and we are working to build more people power to combat the ongoing authoritarian slide we are on. I encourage everyone to find some organizing group to engage with and join the resistance movement.
Reducing food assistance for children will result in adults who are not as healthy as they should be, physically, mentally, emotionally. Eliminating quality education for children and young adults will result in adults who have no critical thinking skills. Both of these devastating policies will ensure citizens who are easily swayed by charlatans. Will democracy survive?
