On June 28, 2018, Trump traveled to Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, and announced that Foxconn, the Taiwanese electronics company, would be building a 20-million-square foot manufacturing facility. Trump said that he had secured an agreement from his "friend," Foxconn chairman Terry Gou, to invest $10 billion and create 13,000 jobs.

I can't understand why this Foxconn story is not being splashed all over the papers in Wisconsin (a swing state!). This should be a lead story on CNN, MSNBC, the local papers, everywhere.
This is typical Donald Trump selling snake oil. He also claimed to have “opened” an Apple Manufacturing Plant in Austin, Texas, that had been operating there since 2012. The plant is not owned by Apple, but by Flex, which handles manufacturing for some of Apple products. Trump claimed that this “new” plant would bring back high paying jobs to America. You cannot trust a word the man says. Do your research!

Walker got his alright and walked and the taxpayers got theirs-in the ear and in their pockets. Back when all this hit the news I remember reading that Foxconn’s promises were mostly hot air but that got buried under trumps pile of BS. Nothing would please me more than to have Wisconsin turn bright blue in response to this expensive boondoggle.

I believe that the lawsuit against Microsoft is just a plea for money for the Republicans because the Democrats are out raising them by an incredible amount. Republicans want these fat cats to help with their campaign funding. See U.S. versus Microsoft around the 1990s. The antitrust lawsuit ended after Bill Gates gave each party half a million dollars. This reminds me of that story.
