Since President Trump entered national electoral politics in 2015, a core part of his political strategy has been undermining confidence in election results.
The fact that Trump has been undermining faith in our elections for over a decade -- basically attempting to destroy the foundation of our democracy -- and it has yet to be covered by the mainstream political media with the hair-on-fire fervor and (dis)proportion of Hillary's email server, tells us a lot about how we've come to this point.
Republicans are smart enough to know that on a level playing field they will get creamed, so they have no choice but cheat. That 33% supports this is really scary.
And if non-Republicans are elected will they work at Robert Moses speed to eliminate the ridiculous election fraud departments? Will they get laws and amendments passed to limit executive orders? Correct loopholes that allowed for congressional members to abandon duty to the Constitution? Or will they just attempt impeachments that do NOTHING?
As a high school teacher for 25 years, I would say you got that right: about a third of all students are not smart. And with smartphones, they all got dumber.
WE the PEOPLE all knew this was coming. Little by little, Trump has been playing the "rigged elections and voter fraud themes" from the authoritarian playbook ever since he has been in office. For as long as I can remember, Republicans have always hollered "rigged election" when they lost and if Democrats lost, it was "tough luck". Most of our politicians, and our citizens and our citizens' children, need refresher courses or civics' lessons, as they were called, on our Country's Constitution and what it means to be in public service. WE the PEOPLE can all be grateful for the law firms like Marc Elias' and Norm Eisen's and all the other lawyers who are true public servants fighting every day against the corruption of Trump's administration. That doesn't get us off the hook....WE the PEOPLE must do something every day, no matter how small, to work to preserve our Democracy and Freedom. It is still up to US to continue letting our Voices be heard!
When, not if, the usual two or three Republicans are found to have committed voter fraud, will Trump pay the million? Or will he claim, as usual, that those convictions are themselves fraud? God damn this old song from Trump ad Republicans is getting very tired. Must we be subjected to it again and again?

Good summary of the strategies. But silence on the underlying cause and any potential remedy--ability of social and other media to propagate lies and willingness of millions to believe them, not giving credence to any other evidence, even their own eyes and experience.
For the sake of our country, this man must go. He should be arrested, stand trial and rot in prison. The only way out of this for America is retribution: the Dems grow some titanium cojones and charge everyone of these criminals in government with the crimes they have committed. Especially against their own country. Send them to - Venezuala - and good riddance. Impeach Hogsbreath, impeach John Roberts, impeach the entire Republican cabinet. We do not need another Gerald Ford pardoning another Richard NIxon. That led us straight here.
