On Monday morning, Popular Information broke the news that migrants from Venezuela were provided with false information to convince them to board flights chartered by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R). A brochure distributed to migrants says that they will be eligible for numerous benefits in Massachusetts, including "8 months cash assistance," "assistance with housing," "food," "clothing," "job placement," "registering children for school," and many other benefits.

Such shameful actions--it seems that to be a republican these days is to be the bigger, meaner, crueler bully--which then increases the nasty in people to come out even stronger on steroids. Another fraudulent set of claims made by right wing authoritarians. As Trump’s claims about classified docs are falling apart in public, let’s hope that InSantis’s claims meet the same end. But we also have to get to the root of the educational and social issues that let obvious lies be accepted as truth by so many.
I was appalled that none of the media present at Ms. Fenske's press conference seemed willing or able to call her out on her obvious lies, but I guess that I shouldn't be.
For republiCons, it’s always a “high probability” that a crime was committed! Time to treat these criminals like all other criminals. Lock them up until their court case comes up! Get them removed from office when the public is put at high risk! Taking two years to accomplish anything and allowing criminals to continue as usual, builds normalization for them & their nutty base.
I live in Florida and DeSantis has a habit of disappearing when the state has a problem. He’s very, very lazy and his assistants use a ruse of saying there are cupcakes to get him to go to meetings. He’s a horrible Governor and has zero talent to govern. He is hostile, power hungry and a bully. A mini Trump.
We don't even need to investigate this to know that DeSantis committed a crime here. What will happen to him? Nothing. Will he do something similar in the future if he's not removed? Absolutely. This will actually propel him to the Republican nomination for President. They love lying, cheating, scumbag candidates. DeSantis is perfect

her press briefing is, there's a big difference between a Migrant seeking
"asylum" at our southern border and a
Refugee seeking "relocation" through the
United Nations. Two very different
divisions with the UNHC for refugees,, not being overseen by Border Patrol.
