Boycotters, remember that PepsiCo has hundreds of subsidiaries. This article points out some of the most popular, including Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Naked Juice, Aquafina, Sierra Mist, Quaker Foods, Tropicana, Lipton, Starbucks (that one hurts!). Some of those cover dozens of brands of snacks, cereals, beverages, and packaged foods (ex. Quaker makes Rice-a-Roni). When I write to PepsiCo, I plan to mention that I'll be reading labels carefully to avoid buying anything made by any PepsiCo subsidiary. https://startuptalky.com/pepsico-subsidiaries/#pepsico_subsidiaryPepsiCoSubsidiaries

Whoever in Pepsi's PR department thought up that lame excuse should lose their job. No one with half a brain will accept it.

Thank you, Judd and team for the continued research and reporting. And thank you to those in this group for other information. Over the past years, I have been working to eliminate so many products owned by Pepsi and Coca Cola, Unilever, etc. Pepsi also aggressively purchases water rights, which will affect local communities sooner than later. These are so monolithic and have infiltrated every aspect of our daily lives it is challenging to avoid them, and they know it. But we can make life uncomfortable for them for some time and impact the financial picture. Please don’t forget to aggressively look at your institutional investments also.

EXCELLENT job Judd! If we we get #BoycottPepsi to trend again, maybe they’ll ask for their money back. Also, let’s get AT&T, Walmart & Ford trending as well!

Thank you for this great piece. I also am upset about the AT&T donations to the Texas lawmakers who dreamt up the horrific abortion ban legislation. After reading about that, I started exploring AT&T’s website and found numerous links to their company’s inclusive and equality stance on people of color and women’s issues. Haha I say. How hypocritical can a company be. As much as I searched, I could not find a link to write a complaint about this corporate donation. Finally, I had to pretend I was a customer with a complaint about their website. There I was able to write my caustic remarks about their shameful donation to those Texas lawmakers, and I used words such as “how dare you” and “shame on you”. I’m sure no one read my remarks, but I felt oh so much better having voiced my utter contempt for them!!

PHENOMENAL follow-up. As soon as I read that they claimed to donate in 2020, I knew this was a garbage response. Checks don't last forever (180 days in most cases as you point out) the lying from these corporations never end. I will avoid Pepsi as much as humanly possible moving forward. Thank You Judd
