Last Monday, Popular Information reported that Monty Bennett, a multi-millionaire Trump donor, scooped up $96.1 million from the Paycheck Protection Act — a government fund meant to support struggling small businesses. Bennett owns and operates a large group of hotels, including luxury properties like The Ritz-Carlton. Even as the coronavirus eroded his business in March, Bennett paid himself millions in bonuses and dividends.

Facebook is a major player in the “infodemic” public health and communication folks are fighting around the globe. It is deadly and supports the pandemic. We are seeing some pushback coverage of these dangerous trolls but it almost seems like putting people on the beaches with buckets to stop a tsunami. It is time for the Wild West era of social media and technology to come to an end with thoughtful regulation and accountability.

Regarding the Facebook portion of this article: Americans failed to hold Fox accountable, that left the gate wide open for Facebook. And I just read that Trump has his eye on OANN as his new favorite. Each one has been worse than the last, unimaginable as that is. When will we learn? We need to take whatever steps are necessary to take these people down. ALL of them.
I don't do Facebook and I consider anyone who does to be an accessory after the fact to the exploitation of teenage girls by sexual predators who took advantage of Mark Rial Peso Pound Lek Lira Yen Franc Tögrög Rupee Ruble Anything-for-dirty-buck Zuckerberg's betrayal of those teenagers' personal information.
I’ve no doubt whatsoever there are already plans in the works to re-route the money Bennett & other big businesses were shamed into giving back so they still end up with their eventual ill-gotten windfall. Trump & GOP are already discussing another give away.
