On Monday, Popular Information revealed that a network of at least 16 online influencers was pushing election misinformation in posts on X sponsored by Polymarket, a popular online prediction market.

I didn't use Twitter/X. Anyone on Judd's substack that still uses it ought to find another social media site to post on. It is OK to look and if you see questionable misleading posts, tell Judd. He follows up.
Truth matters. Honesty is real. Lies need to be called out. A lot of ignorant people walking around in America right now with so much mis- and disinformation int heir heads it scares me and makes me think we will never crawl out of this - not with the stalwart techbro social media platform owners saying, "It's not my responsibility what goes on my platform."
Betting on election results should be illegal. Not only does it lead to these abuses, but it can affect the outcomes by discouraging people from voting based on predicted outcomes. It your candidate was predicted to either win or lose by a wide margin, would you bother to vote?

But the headline should probably be revised to say "Polymarket ends sponsorship of reported election information". Almost certain there is more. They only removed the ones you called attention to.
