Btw, wasn’t Fuentes the guy who ran & hid at his mother’s house when that “ me too” women’s movement/ protest was going on. “ He Too” was feeling the wrath of women with his nasty commentary about essentially owning women, if I recall correctly.
Been up most of the night getting over bronchitis, so my mind may be a bit slow, but recall it was something along that line with Fuentes.
This past month it took me two weeks and two different antibiotics to get over the worst upper respiratory infection I have had in decades. I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care.
I’m sorry it was so difficult. Same here. Two separate courses of steroids & antibiotics. But the 2nd course ( Doxycycline) seems to be doing it. The first antibiotic did next to nothing. Both doctors said it was bronchitis & just seem to be coming out on the other side of this… since September. Tough getting older. Just don’t seem to bounce back like I did when younger.
Take care of yourself. Lived in San Francisco for a short time late 90’s. Loved it but the cost of “ admission” was kinda high & I missed family/ friends.
From New England, but live in Georgia now & the temps have gone down into the 30’s lately nights. Frosty pumpkin time.. stay safe & hope you’re feeling lots better.

Corporations, corporate money, control our politics. Money is the life blood of corporations. Boycotts work. The threat of a boycott works. What you do with your money is becoming the only input you have into our “democratic” politics. Organize and demand corporate responsibility and accountability!
I should have added, no cynicism here, that money is also the life blood of our politicians. Perhaps boycotts are the only power of “we the people” that’s left. Demonstrations are great. They show our numbers, and there’s strength and courage in numbers. But how do we exercise our power? We can’t count on our vote.

For those of you who still read the NY Times, it's time to do a "Jimmy Kimmel" and unsubscribe. I am in my early 80s and began reading the Times at 10 on the insistence of my parents. I unsubscribed after the election of 2016 because as an executive in NYC, I knew what most news followers in New York knew about the character of Trump. When asked by the Times why I unsubscribed, I told them that they elected Trump by not adequately covering their hometown candidate Trump during the election. I resubscribed during the Russian interference discussions as that topic was quite to close to parts of my career. I unsubscribed again about three months into the 2024 election because the Times continued to white-wash Trump, truth-wash Trump, and misled its readers with their polling columns.
