Reinforces the lesson - donate directly to the candidates you support, not to some outfit endlessly filling your inbox or spamming your texts with pleas to save the world from MAGA.

Thanks for writing about the topic. I hope you will write about how many of the things local governments are doing are not constitutional because of Amendment 5 and Amendment 8 of the Constitution.

How often have local government stolen from homeowners? Homeowner owes $5,000 on a house worth $400,000. City sells at auction for $200,000. Buyer flips house and sells for $400,000. City should pay homeowner $395,000 because that is what house is worth. How often do buyers of cheap houses give kickbacks to elected officials?

MBTA chief Phillip Eng touts World Cup transit successes

Think about the successful leadership of Boston dealing with transportation and the INCOMPETENCE for decades of School Board and Board of Mayor and Aldermen dealing with buses and economic development. They were discussing huge cuts to Manchester Transit Authority in Manchester Express in 2008.

When will School Board understand that the higher property taxes go up the less likely businesses will want to create jobs in Manchester and increase the business property tax base which we need to happen if our students will ever get an adequate education which they are not now? If you want students in Manchester to receive high-quality education, there are two ways to do it - user fees based on numbers of children in a home and increase business property tax base of Manchester.

A female friend of mine told me she is worried about losing her home because of city government. Most School Board members and most Aldermen are enemies of children who do not care if they lose their homes.

Representative Jason Osbourne

"Property taxes in New Hampshire are crushing people. Seniors on fixed incomes are being taxed out of homes they paid off decades ago, and young families are watching the dream of homeownership drift further away every year. These are the people who do not have a lobbyist at town meetings. They pay the bill and never get a vote that counts. And they show up in November."

For some reason, David Preece and others do not care that tax caps reduce the odds people will lose their homes. Anti-Democratic David Preece has hurt us.

Does he want more homeless children in our schools?

Letter: Disconnect between priorities and reality by Rep. David Preece

I asked Manchester Express how much SNHU Arena was costing us in 2009 and Bill Sanders who was the finance director of Manchester said it was costing us over $4 million a year via rooms and meals taxes and that it would eventually cost us over $5 million for more than 20 years. No ticket surcharge on tickets because of Republican Party.

I had to pay $4,000 to a Go Fund Me so children in Ward 5 could going swimming in Ward 1 because FAKE Republican Party is an enemy of taxpayers.

We might have minor league hockey team and lot more events at SNHU ARENA if not for incompetent leadership of School Board and Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

Businesses may donate money to schools and city departments if they want. Businesses may fund high school sports teams if they want. Businesses may fund cooperative education programs and vocational education programs in junior high schools, high schools, and colleges. Businesses could fund a buses that take people from UNH Manchester to UNH Durham for classes, football games, hockey games.

I am glad that we do not tax interest and dividends anymore. They help people save for retirement and help businesses especially small businesses get capital.

At least 70 percent of state rooms and meals tax and state business profits tax should go to local government.

Poorly run schools for decades because of incompetent School Boards for decades. If you do not teach students to read and write with phonics in first grade or sooner, money spent on educating kids will likely be wasted. USA spends more on per student basis for k-12 education than most countries and usually provides lousy educations because our School Boards have the wrong priorities.

The sooner high school sport teams depend on donations and not taxes the better.

If New Hampshire spends a percentage of state's rooms and meals tax and business profits tax on fish and game department, tourism would likely increase. I hope NH Fish and Game Department will have tours of state parks again.

If New Hampshire spends a percentage of state's rooms and meals tax and business profits tax on hybrid buses within cities and between cities, tourism would likely increase and more businesses would likely come to New Hampshire.

Lower taxes on businesses may lead to more businesses coming to New Hampshire and increasing wages of workers. Lower taxes on businesses may lead to more business properties in Manchester and other cities helping to pay for schools and reduce taxes on primary residences.

Lower taxes on businesses may lead to less inflation in NH.

Members of Congress need to be told to enforce the Constitution. Millions of people have died and inflation has soared because the US Supreme Court has chosen to be an enemy of the people of our REPUBLIC for many decades. One example - deals with commerce that takes place entirely within a state. Commerce that takes place entirely within a state is supposed to be regulated by State legislature and not Congress because of Article 1, Section 8 of Constitution, Amendments 9 and 10. Beef grown in NH and sold entirely within NH should be regulated by State legislature. Businesses may also ask to be regulated by Federal government if they want. Less idiotic regulation from the federal government may lead to higher wages, less unemployment, healthier people. WE need federal regulation that makes sense dealing with banks and investment companies and we have not for many decades.

I would like the entire country to change the way it funds local government. I would like taxes reduced on primary residences and USER FEES used to fund schools, fire, police, highway, water departments, etc. I live in my home alone and yet I pay more in taxes than a family of six with 4 kids in school. If grandparents live with the family, 10 or more people may live in a home and yet I pay more taxes than them. Property taxpayers who live alone are being stolen from because governments have refused to tax people properly.

Want more affordable homes to be built reduce taxation on primary residences.

More businesses will likely come to Manchester if we spend more on buses and have plans dealing with building more low income apartments, middle income apartments, luxury apartments, super luxury apartments, low income homes, middle income homes, luxury homes, super luxury homes.

One way to significantly increase number of homes is to tear down existing homes and then build taller homes that take up less land.

Small business owners are complaining about parking spaces and elected officials want to reduce spending on Manchester Transit Authority making it harder for them to stay in business which may lead to Manchester taking in many millions of dollars less in property taxes. The easier it is for people to shop at businesses the more their profits go up and the more valuable business properties become. Have our elected officials ever been to Boston and looked up? Would our elected officials like our airport which is NOT in MA to be more successful?

The less money Manchester city government spends on Manchester Transit Authority buses the less the federal government spends.

Sincerely,

I wonder if the local news media picks up Judd's stories of dark money in their local races? Does the Gannet newspaper, The Journal News, in Westchester/Rockland Counties in New York read Popular Information? What this does is create riffs in intraparty politics and when or if Cait Conley wins/loses, she has been so damaged by these stories that her own party turns her back??

It is sick that all of this money flows into politics; money is not finite, so the choice to spend these obscene amounts to get a magats elected is sickening. Because "getting elected" means dirty and aggressive politics and the people suffer from disinformation and confusion. Great country.
