At the earliest moment, number one on day one: freeze assets&forensically investigate the entire Trump family.

#2: judicial reform&term limits.

Adam's avatar

Agreed. Freeze assets world-wide. I bet we could get full cooperation on that initiative!

Suki Herr's avatar

Probably no cooperation. But time for some serious repercussions for Trump

Adam's avatar

I dunno. He is not very well liked in the international community. In any case we are in accord on the main issue. " time for some serious repercussions for twump!"

The USA has its very own 21 century Romanov family.

Remind me, what happened to them?

Adam's avatar

Uh... they got a Carnival Cruise?

Blatant hypocrisy and greed. And we put the future of this country in his hands!

And the media are complicit by not reporting exactly what all of this means in terms of double dealing and big conflicts of interest! People need to know, and not just people who are engaged enough to read the substacks! I'm talking about reaching voters everywhere, ensuring that they understand, that they are enraged, and that they vote!!

Peter Warren's avatar

Whoops, we accidentally sold the media to his cronies.

Adam's avatar

I know I didn't and many times when I tried to warn members of the herd, I was met with derision and accusations of being a "hysterical lefty."

Now those same members of the herd claim to not be "paying attention to politics."

Since the MSM won't point this out, they are emboldened to light-of-day corruption.

Thank you PI for covering what the MSM is not. Watch your backs!

As long as a woman, or a Black person, or, gasp, a Black woman is not president it does not seem to matter to Twump's followers that his entire family is taking up all the space in the yard as they wallow their piggy snouts in the cool stinky mud. Do any of these Twumping magats understand corruption or is it something that simply does not happen in their white Christian world? Is the concept of a rich man stealing money from the poor unfathomable to them? Is the powerful white man always right simply because he has pale skin and shrivelled little pee pee?

Signed, completely utterly finally and forever over patriarchy

I don’t think Fox reports the corruption. They barely mentioned Epstein.

Even at WSJ, which does report it, you see commenters saying things like “Biden crime family” and “Trump isn’t corrupt.”

They must not read the stories they don’t like.

Adam's avatar

I'm with you Katy. As a strong man who gives a damn about the weak and helpless.

Sounds like my daughter these days!

Basically, our government is in effect saying, "we attacked you without real provocation, and because you had the temerity to fight back, we are going use money rightfully yours to pay for damages you caused for retaliating against our basically illegal attack." I actually hold Congress accountable for this egregious mess. I'm not defending Iran, but I do think the folks we have negotiating an end to the conflict should AT LEAST be qualified and competent for the job. Kushner (and Bessent) is absolutely unqualified to do the job. Like Pulte as DNI, republicans in Congress should at least insist Trump pick someone with basic qualifications - even if they don't like that person.

Kushner is the slimiest, perhaps most corrupt one of the lot... and that's a very significant bar. I hope he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of his indecency. He dishonors his Jewish faith.

"I think my track record is pretty impeccable." No, I'd go with "incredible."

Jaw dropping corruption even by the standards of the criminal Trump regime. And ultimately counterproductive as there is no way Iran will negotiate with the U.S. while their assets are being seized.

Thanks Judd for reporting on these massive conflicts of interests. I'm distressed that this is down-played so often in legacy media. I fear the main reason is that that Trump theatrics garner more views than the immoral, unethical and illegal antics of Trump enablers.

Tell me again about Hunter's paintings....

MAGA are still talking about them!

Bravo, Judd: the elephant in the room, indeed. No personal interest in the billions because I said so, but don’t audit my edit!

Thanks for keeping this information out there and continuing to dig. Important to shine a light on corruption.

"The American public has no idea whose interests Kushner is advancing" The answer is he is advancing Jared Kushner's interests. This nest of narcissists only does something if it benefits them.

This is do blatantly corrupt!!!

Thank you, Mr. Legum. A glaring conflict of interest.
